Great hotel with good transport links (I think you have the metro, tram and bus all within 10 min walk) but it is worth mentioning that this is slightly out of the centre so it takes about 30 minutes to get in. For business travellers with offices around I guess that dosent matter but for tourists it might be slightly time consuming although the Ruter zone 1 transport pass does cover this so more on time rather than cost for transport here. Breakfast was splendid and I really enjoyed the spread and quality which I think is even better than other 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in Oslo and other parts of EU. Staff in breakfast was great, although reception staff was not the friendliest per se - professional though just not as friendly. I put a DND on my room door twice but both times housekeeping still came to clean my room so I’m not really sure if the signs mean anything. Amenities though was horrendous - nothing except poor quality towels and soap which were a let down. Overall good hotel but definitely more things could be done to achieve the maximum potential.

중국인 친구들이 참고할 수 있도록 실제 체크인 상황을 공유하고 싶습니다. 1. 호텔은 칼 요한 거리에 편리하게 위치하고 있으며, NIO 신에너지 자동차 매장 바로 옆에 있습니다. 궁전과도 가깝습니다. 2. 호텔 1층에는 매우 작은 프런트 데스크만 있습니다. 거기 머무는 사람들의 대부분은 백인이고, 중국인은 거의 없습니다. 제가 그곳에 머물렀던 이틀 동안 중국인을 한 명도 보지 못했습니다. 3. 방의 바닥이 매우 이상해요. 예를 들어, 5층에 살고 있다면 많은 방은 위나 아래 층을 통해서만 갈 수 있습니다. 긴 계단이 있고 엘리베이터가 없습니다. 짐이 많으면 매우 이상하고 불편할 수 있습니다. 4. 아침 식사가 매우 맛있고 풍성합니다. 레스토랑에는 유리 돔과 많은 식물이 있어 매우 좋은 분위기를 조성합니다. 5. 호텔에서 택시를 부르는 것은 직접 타는 것보다 훨씬 비싸고, 호텔이 협력하는 택시 회사의 운전자는 **와 **로 표현될 수 있습니다. 저도 이런 일을 겪었는데요... 매우 놀랐습니다. 어떻게 이런 끔찍한 일이 대낮에 중심지에서 일어날 수 있을까? 그러니 모든 사람이 택시를 부르거나 대중교통을 이용하려면 앱을 사용해야 하며, 이 호텔에서는 택시를 부르지 마세요. 6. 객실에는 주전자와 커피 머신이 잘 갖춰져 있었지만, 침대 시트에 머리카락이 있었습니다.

이 호텔을 예약했을 때 모든 사람들의 리뷰를 읽었는데 매우 극단적이었습니다. 좋은 리뷰도 있고 나쁜 리뷰도 있어요! 체크인하고 나서야 그 이유를 알 수 있었습니다. 우리는 여행 내내 스탠다드룸을 예약했지만 두 번 머물렀습니다. 처음 도착했을 때는 일요일 오전 9시쯤이었습니다. 원래는 일찍 체크인할 수 없을 거라 생각했는데, 긴 비행 끝에 방 4개가 모두 비어 있을 줄은 몰랐습니다. 이번에 2박을 묵는 동안 방도 꽤 넓고 커피머신까지 갖춰져 있었어요! 몇 개의 더러운 컵과 불충분한 가열을 제외하고는 문제가 없었습니다! 하지만 두 번째 체크인을 했을 때 배정받은 방은 더 작았고 커피 머신도 없었지만 하룻밤만 묵어도 상관없었어요! 유일한 문제는 샤워실에 있는 샤워기 헤드가 별로 좋지 않고, 물이 너무 느리고 물이 쌓이기 쉽다는 점이에요! 아직 난방이 안되네요~ 게다가 호텔 위치도 지하철 4.5호선과 바로 인접해있어서 정말 좋아요! 옆에는 23:00까지 영업하는 협동 슈퍼마켓이 있습니다.

이 호텔은 오래된 건물을 개조한 건물입니다. 객실은 크지 않지만 시설은 꽤 새롭습니다. 기차역과 매우 가깝고, 바로 옆에 있으며, 상업가와도 가깝습니다. 호텔이 기차역 근처에 있는 유일한 이유는 호텔 주변이 조금 지저분하게 느껴지기 때문입니다.

숙박하기에 완벽한 호텔이었어요. 직원들도 정말 친절하고 도움이 많았어요. 체크아웃 후 야간 버스를 타야 했는데, 직원들이 친절하게 헬스장 샤워실도 이용할 수 있게 해줘서 정말 기뻤어요. 덕분에 활력을 되찾을 수 있어서 정말 좋았어요. 직원들이 집처럼 편안하게 지낼 수 있도록 배려해 주셔서 정말 즐거웠어요. 조식도 훌륭했고, 무료 저녁 식사도 매일 다른 메뉴로 나와서 좋았어요. 오후에는 간단한 간식과 커피를 즐길 수 있는 피카(Fika) 시간도 마련되어 있었어요. 모든 고객을 위한 서비스와 헌신에 감탄했습니다.

객실은 넓었고, 욕실은 엄청 크고 편안했어요! 조식은 종류도 다양하고 영양도 풍부해서 훌륭했습니다. 지하철역, 버스 정류장, 슈퍼마켓이 가까워서 위치도 편리했어요. 팁 하나 드리자면, 지하철역에서 호텔까지 내비**션을 처음 사용하시는 경우, 긴 계단으로 안내될 수 있는데, 짐이 많으면 불편할 수 있어요. 리셉션으로 가려면 옆쪽 경사로를 이용하시는 게 좋습니다. 저는 처음에 계단 옆에 있는 호텔 헬스장에 엘리베이터가 있는 줄 알고 프런트 데스크에 문의했는데, 직원분께서 다른 길로 가야 한다고 알려주셨어요. 특히, 제 짐을 들어주시려고 긴 계단을 직접 내려가 주신 프런트 직원분께 정말 감사드렸습니다. 아쉽게도 이름표를 확인하지 못해서 죄송했어요.

위치가 편리하고 카운터 직원들도 친절합니다. 다음에 그곳에 갈 일이 있다면 이 레스토랑에 다시 묵을 의향이 있습니다. 1층에는 탄산수, 온수, 차, 커피가 무료로 제공됩니다.

Highly recommended. The hotel is part of an old post office, located right behind a bus stop, 100m from a tram stop and 500m from Oslo Central Station. There are restaurants just downstairs or nearby. The room is large enough and well-equipped, with a washing machine, a big drying rack, a microwave and all utensils. There is a public room for (self-service, super convenient, pretty large space) luggage storage facilities and all the necessites (tea packs, towels, linens, and ear plugs etc., though it is quiet at night) Everything is done on app, including check-in/out and opening the doors. However, the door-opening function in the app doesn't work sometimes so you have to use code instead (there's no reception). Also, you have to go through some stairs at entrance and a winding passage to reach your room. The room is a little bit dark at night (even with all the lights on) for reading and writing. The TV is located in a weird position.

For our stay, we booked a studio apartment at The Sweet. The room was lovely and kitchenette was well-equipped. We were able to cook meals there over the days of Christmas when most restaurants and shops were closed. The location is a little outside of the center- nice and quiet but easy to access public transit. My biggest issue with this hotel was that communication was very… odd. As the booking notes, I called the hotel in advance to schedule my check-in. When my call was answered, I told them who I was and that I was calling to schedule my check in (for a time when the booking said check in is available). I was told no one would be at reception at that time (3pm on Dec 23) and they would text me instructions for how to check myself in. Then she confirmed my phone number and asked for my email address, but when I started to give it, she said, “oh, that’s ok. We can’t use email anyway”. Odd. Before getting off the phone, I had her confirm that I would receive a text the next day with instructions to check in. Our train arrived around 2pm in Oslo and we still hadn’t received a text, so we waited at the train station thinking perhaps they would send the text right at 3pm since that was the time I had requested. At 3, I still hadn’t received anything, so we called the hotel again. A different employee answered from the one I had spoken to the day before. I gave my name and explained that I was calling because I had scheduled check in the day before but hadn’t received the information to check in. The employee asked where I was and told me that there were people staffing reception to help us check in, which I thought was odd because the previous employee told me no one would be there. When we got to the hotel, we rang the bell and got into the building, but reception is apparently in the basement- there is only a very tiny sign that says this- so we missed it and I called them again. A man came up with our keys and got us set to go. We got into our room and it was lovely! About 5 hours later, I got a call from Trip saying that the hotel is trying to contact me because they are wondering why I hadn’t checked in and they don’t have a way to get in touch with me. I was sitting in the hotel room when I got this call. I told the Trip representative that I was checked in and it was fine for her to give my phone and email to the hotel. I know the communication elements have taken up a huge portion of my review and I know they are not the end of the world, but I want to share them because I believe it would be quite simple to avoid situations like this in the future and make the guest experience that much more pleasant at The Sweet. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the hotel overall and thoroughly enjoyed exploring Oslo!

Very convenient hotel right in the center of Oslo! Customer service was good and the hotel was clean and up to standard, as expected across the Scandic chains in the nordics
