10년도 더 전에 골프를 치던 시절에 이곳에 묵었었습니다. 이번에는 혼자 왔습니다. 샤워실은 불안정하고 수압이 약하며, 로비 라운지에는 라이브 음악이 없고, 노래방은 문을 닫았습니다. 제 방은 수영장을 향해 있어서 12월 31일 새해맞이 행사 때 너무 시끄럽고 시끄러웠습니다. TV 채널은 괜찮았고, 커피와 차는 괜찮았습니다. 조식은 평범하고 지루했습니다.

호텔은 환상적인 수영장을 자랑하지만, 저는 그것을 즐길 기회가 없었습니다. 그러나 내 체류에 영향을 미치는 몇 가지 문제가 있었습니다. 첫째, 호텔의 수압이 실망스러울 정도로 낮아서 샤워하기가 약간 어려웠습니다. 린넨은 눈에 띄게 오래되어 교체가 필요했습니다. 또한 내 방과 화장실에 개미가 있어서 상당히 불안한 문제가 발생했습니다.

추천 호텔, 입구 보안부터 주차까지 서비스가 매우 만족스럽고, 보안이 동행하고 주차 위치를 안내해 주며, 리셉션 직원도 매우 친절합니다. 오래된 건물임에도 매우 깨끗하고 관리가 잘 되어 있으며, 아침 식사로 손님이 많습니다. 가족 휴가이므로 메뉴가 다양하므로 연결된 객실을 주문하세요. 또한 호텔에서는 중국 설날에 사자춤 공연으로 호텔 투숙객을 위한 엔터테인먼트를 제공합니다.

첫째, 아기가 있는 걸 알면서도 흡연실을 줬어요. 둘째, 이 문제에 대해 항의했는데 다행히 잘 처리해 주더라고요. 그리고 객실 의자에 손톱이 노출되어 있어서 손가락을 거의 베일 뻔했어요. 이런 문제는 기본적으로 처리할 수 있어요. 전반적으로 다 좋았어요.

이 호텔은 메르데카 워크와 케사완 거리의 정중앙에 위치해 있어 매우 전략적인 입지를 자랑합니다. 저희가 묵는 동안 마침 TNI 80주년 기념 행사가 있어서 도로가 폐쇄되어 정시에 체크아웃할 수 없었습니다. 그만큼 호텔이 시내 중심에 있고 가깝기 때문입니다. 체크인 절차는 순조롭고 빨랐습니다. 호텔은 깨끗했고, 디럭스룸은 꽤 넓었습니다. 다만 내부는 꽤 오래되었습니다. 사진으로는 현대적으로 보이지만 실제로는 대부분의 가구가 오래되었습니다. 조식은 괜찮았습니다. 카레와 함께 로티 잘라가 나왔는데, 솔직히 정말 맛있었습니다! 제 말레이시아 입맛에도 딱 맞았습니다 😋 건물 자체도 멋지고 어둡지 않았고, 직원들도 친절하고 도움이 많았습니다. 전반적으로 좋은 위치, 깨끗한 객실, 친절한 서비스로 편안한 숙박을 즐길 수 있었습니다. 다만, 오래된 호텔이라는 점을 감안해야 합니다.

Excellent hotel, clean and big room, delicious meals, and strategically located.

The room was very spacious for a family, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. We were very comfortable staying there for almost a week. The three rooms made us feel at home. However, there were no kitchen utensils. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future. We will be back again.

I recently stayed at Grand Sakura Hotel in Medan, and overall, it was a decent experience—especially for the price. The hotel is located in a pretty strategic area, making it easy to get around the city and access nearby attractions, shopping spots, and transportation. Cleanliness was generally acceptable, although some areas could use better maintenance and attention to detail. One of the positives is the staff—they were mostly friendly and helpful during the stay, which made the experience more pleasant. The breakfast offered a decent variety of food, though sometimes items were not refilled quickly during busy periods. However, there are a few downsides. Some guests have reported issues like noise (especially from air conditioning units), occasional maintenance problems, and inconsistent service at the front desk. The facilities are also quite basic, so don’t expect anything luxurious. Overall, Grand Sakura Hotel is a good budget-friendly option if you’re looking for a simple and convenient place to stay in Medan. It’s best suited for short stays or travelers who prioritize location and value over luxury.

Was a little bit surprised when there was a towel inside the towel, but it probably fell off the shelve of towels and besides that the hotel is fine, there’s no problem. Nice bar and swimming pool uptop and there’s also a restaurant downstairs. I tried the food at night from the bar. A beer was about 50.000 rupiah, a pizza was about 78.000 rupiah for a special one, fries about 30.000. All tasted good so very happy with that. For the price I’d say it’s a very good hotel.
