퍼스, Equus Arcade 근처 호텔

Great location, friendly staff. Met our expectations. Decor is a little dated and old and the hotel restaurant and bar were closed for renovation which is a pity, but the hotel was convenient to walk to food outlets, trains and attractions.

Good location, within walking distance to the down town Perth Train Terminal. All that is expected and required is there, and good value for money. Very near to the Perth Mint which is worth a visit.

The European Hotel retains much of its distinctive style but it IS different under the new management. Miss Maud is on an extended break but it looks like the wonderful buffet cafe/restaurant on the corner has gone forever. There is a small coffee shop as part of the complex. We were disappointed with the service. Offerings were fairly limited and not cheap. But there are other options nearby. The hotel is now more Eurasian. There is nothing wrong with that of course. Staff at reception are professional but can be curt at times. I endorse the comment of the reviewer who mentioned information about wifi and password was not freely given at check-in. Having said that, the free wifi was very good. Room was as we expected. Comfortable but the airconditioning took a little while to get used to. The hotel is an easy walk from Perth railway station so it is convenient for people using the new (October 2022) airport line. Public bus services pass close by. Many businesses in the area have closed down but the hotel surroundings are generally safe. However, some patrons may feel a little uneasy about some of the local street and homeless people.

Lots of the reviews here, I believe, are reviewing Mercure on Hay (the newer, more upmarket hotel and possibly better of the two although I haven’t seen it), whereas lots of reviews in Mercure Perth on Hay are referring to Mercure on Irwin. I’ve compared the photos and the hotel details and official photos are definitely that way round. SO… this one, Mercure Perth (which is on Irwin St) is the bad one. It’s awful. It’s tired, badly fitted out, dingy and I hope never to stay here again. My room was down a corridor of *****ed (and stained) carpet that made me feel nauseous to look at. The room was ok, the bed comfortable, but more stained carpet, and lots of things didn’t work. Several light bulbs were broken, lots of curtain hooks missing, the room safe didn’t work, the bath had a rusty patch in it. The aircon was too cold for me and I followed the instructions to turn up the temperature but it didn’t warm up. Two phone calls and three hours later, someone attended my room, told me the air con wasn’t adjustable as it’s one temperature for the whole building so the instructions were incorrect. He turned it off (supposedly) and I then spent my stay with no aircon although the room was still cold and not stuffy and the control panel didn’t say ‘off’ so I think the whole thing was just BS and they couldn’t be bothered to deal with it or give me another room. Staff care factor of the attendant was zero, and of the front desk staff, close to zero. I got woken up in the early hours of the morning several times by skip bins being moved around in the laneway outside (very loud chains being dropped in the skip bins and noise reverberation). The next night the fridge started making such a loud noise in the middle of the night that I had to turn it off and use the spare towels to absorb the water as it defrosted. I’m just curious why Mercure keep this one running. Perhaps it’s set at a different price range but it’s not doing their brand any favours with two Mercure hotels so close together, especially with all the reviews mixed up.

나는이 호텔이 도시의 가장 좋은 부분에 있다고 생각하지 않지만 상당히 중심적이며 CBD의 일부 명소까지 도보로 쉽게 이동할 수 있으며 역에서 도보로 약 10분 거리에 있습니다. 그러나 나는 밤에 혼자 여기를 걷지 않을 것입니다. 나는 영국에서 긴 비행 후 저녁 늦게 체크인했다. 나는 작은 퀸 룸을 예약했고 작았습니다. 침대 한쪽에는 침대 옆 탁자만 있었고 옷장은 없었지만 옷걸이가 달린 후크 두 개였습니다. 주전자, 금고 및 냉장고가있었습니다. 호텔 웹 사이트에는 손님을 위한 세탁기와 텀블 드라이어도 언급되어 있습니다. 내가 도착하기 전에 그들이 나에게 말하지 않은 것은 오전 8시에 시작된 호텔에서 공사가 진행되고 있다는 것입니다. 영국 / 호주 시차로 어려움을 겪을 때 좋지 않았습니다. 꽤 시끄 럽습니다. 패딩 매트리스 토퍼가 있었기 때문에 침대는 정말 편안했습니다. 방에는 방을 가열하거나 식힐 수있는 에어컨도있었습니다. 욕실 세면대 위에 거울이 있었지만 방에는 화장 등을 분류할 적절한 조명이 있는 거울이 없었습니다. 문 근처에 전신 거울이 있었지만 특별히 조명이 좋지 않았습니다. 샤워 실은 깨끗했고 새하얀 수건 2 개가 제공되었습니다. 샤워기의 물은 뜨겁고 수압이 적당했습니다. 문 아래에서 약간 새었지만 문제가되지는 않았습니다. 방의 문제 중 하나는 소음 제어였습니다. 이웃이 블라인드를 올리고 내리는 소리가 선명하게 들렸기 때문에 큰 창문 주위에 확실히 소음이 피어났습니다. 나는 또한 밤에 큰 코를 골고 있는 이웃 중 한 명에 의해 깨어났습니다. 그리고 매일 밤 늦게 방으로 돌아가는 사람들에 의해 몇 번 깨어났습니다. 호텔에는 아침 식사를 할 수 있는 레스토랑이 없지만 현지에는 카페가 많이 있습니다. 나는 경쟁력 있는 가격이었기 때문에 이 호텔을 선택했지만 그렇지 않으면 선택하지 않았을 것입니다.

결혼 기념일을 위한 특별한 날과 Hilton Parmelia 직원이 잘 돌봐 주었고 오랜 시간 직원과 새로운 만남을 보는 것은 항상 좋습니다. 다이아몬드 HH 동안 우리는 주말 동안 아름다운 Kings 응접실로 업그레이드되었고 우리 방에서 놀라운 아침 식사를 먹었고 항상 이그제큐티브 라운지가 편안한 곳으로 즐겁고 제공되는 음식은 종종 다양합니다. 우리는 Samuels 레스토랑과 바 음식 메뉴를 즐깁니다. 그러나 나는 covid 이전 시대의 Caesar 샐러드를 그리워합니다. 예전에는 최고였습니다. 우리는 DT를 포함한 다른 퍼스 호텔에 머물렀지만 Parmelia는 여전히 우리를 위해 최고입니다. 주말을 특별하게 만들어 주셔서 감사합니다.

4번째 방문인데 이번주에는 조금 실망스러웠습니다. 매번 피지컬 아이디를 가지고 증명해야 하나요? 2주 연속으로 스탭들에게 여권 PDF를 메일로 보냈는데 이번에 또 보내야 하냐고 하니 보내는 것도 안되고 무조건 실물 여권이 있어야만 한다고 하더라고요. 응대하는 태도도 유쾌하지 않았습니다. 잃어버려서 지금 없다고 하니 다른 신분증이라도 있어야한다길래 그 자리에서 캐리어 털어서 열어서 지갑에서 국제면허증 보여주고 체크인 했습니다. 해당부분이 개선될 수 있다면 좋겠습니다. 또 방안에 환기가 안되는건지 체취가 너무 심했는데 이건 뭐 운이 안좋은거니 어쩔 수 없다고 생각합니다.

My wife & I had a wonderful staycation last week, from start to end the service both friendly and impeccable. At check-in my Ambassador level was well acknowledged. Our room was clean, comfortable, very quiet, modern, and well appointed. Breakfast at the Hotel's ground floor restaurant, Ivy & Jack, was excellent overall, great service too. However, my wife felt more asian breakfast food would be good, think noodles and cooked asian vegetables with the Fried Rice being vegetarian rather than containing meat. Can well recommend the hotel and it's location.

We upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. We could not get near enough to the hotel on arrival to park and check in. There is a small very narrow lane way that runs from Wellington St to Murray St with no indication of which way the traffic flows. We parked up eventually on Murray St in a multi storey and fortunately our one suit case was easily wheeled the 100 metres or so to the hotel. The hotel info was all available on the room tv screen. I checked breakfast times and saw it was served up to 10-30 am on a weekend. Next morning we arrived at breakfast at 9-45 am. The waiter looked somewhat taken aback. There was only enough orange juice for 1 person, the tank on the tea maker was dry, there was no butter or bacon. The water tank was refilled, butter produced. The chef lifted the lid of the scrambled eggs and they looked disgusting. I asked the waiter if we could have a fried egg. He had to go find the chef. He cooked the eggs, burnt on the bottom runny white on the top. My breakfast at a cost of $30 consisted of one slice of toast 3 mushrooms, half a scoop of congealed baked beans and half of a very sad looking tomato, plus the delicious burnt egg, one cup of black tea. I heard the waiter and chef grumbling together about breakfast times and their attitude prevented me from complaining and asking for fresh food. It transpired that breakfast time had been changed to finish at 10am. The receptionist enlightened me as we checked out next day. There was still a sign on reception saying that breakfast on a weekend lasted until 10 -30am. Needless to say we breakfasted elsewhere next day. It's a soul less hotel, with about as much vibe as a grave yard. We used the fantastic bar of the new Novotel directly behind Rydges. I also found we could have stayed there at a cheaper rate! Will not be returning.

Staff polite and helpful. Large room, comfortable overall, however area is quite small. Bedside table dusty, needs more attention to detail from housekeeping section.
