리리뷰어The place was well described as in the photos, a very rustic and old place, very good to disconnect from the city and have a good atmosphere. The food was spectacular, the service was very attentive. The only drawback was that one night it rained and there was no power. But that did not prevent us from having a good night.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean, well-organized resort with spacious, quiet rooms (ours had no balcony, but it was fine). The minibar was a nice touch, and the bathroom was spotless.
Highlights:
✔ Food variety – Multiple à-la-carte restaurants (dinner reservations not needed) and buffets with good lunch/breakfast options.
✔beach – Plenty of sunbeds but no umberalla so bring your sunscreen, though pools get crowded les sunbeds.
✔ Access to sister hotels – Party lovers can visit Riu Tequila’s club nearby.
✔ Convenient location – Mini-market across the street, and Playa del Carmen (5th Ave) is just a 150-peso taxi ride away.
✔ Easy airport transfer – ADO bus (250 pesos/person, 45-min ride + 5-min taxi 150 pesos next to ado turism station).
Minor drawbacks:
✖ No elevators – Tough for guests with mobility issues.
✖ Entertainment hiccups – The host sometimes forgot to switch back to English after Spanish announcements.
Perfect for: Travelers who want good value, variety, and proximity to Playa’s nightlife.

AAlisha Corine VictoriaIt was AMAZING! I had such a great time there! The staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. I made sure to eat and drink as much as possible, I think I ate too much! There is only a buffet breakfast and lunch and dinner at the restaurants. It's à la carte (if you paid for the package) and you can order as much food as you want. Mexican food for lunch and Italian or Mexican food for dinner (you have to book for dinner). I also love that the rooftop bar has unlimited great food for the whole day. The pool area was nice and so was the furniture. My room was huge and very spacious, I did not have the best view which didn't matter because I was upstairs on the rooftop for most of the time. They also stock the room fridge with soft drinks and beer which are unlimited. Each floor has a water cooler machine and an ice machine which was great when it came to refilling my water bottles. I think it's a great idea instead of the single use water bottles. I highly recommend staying here, my only regret was not staying here longer. I will be back in the future!

AAnne-Charlotte방에 샤워 시설이 하나뿐이었고 다른 하나는 업스테이어였습니다. 호스텔 꼭대기에 바가 있어서 밤에 소음이 많이 나서 잠을 잘 수 없었습니다. 샤워 타월도 제공되지 않습니다. 침대 사이의 분리는 정말 최소한이었습니다. 공용 주방이 더럽습니다. 그러나 직원은 매우 좋았고 위치는 좋았습니다.

리리뷰어We stayed at the Viva Azteca Hotel for 7 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we entered our room, the small gestures made for our anniversary made us very happy. All the staff members are smiling and doing their best to ensure you have a relaxing holiday. The resort has a perfect beach. However, the sea was very wavy and covered with sea plants. The food and evening shows were very good. There are plenty of places to visit around the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the 5th Avenue in the center. As a result, we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Viva Azteca, you brought color to our lives.

The room I was assigned afterwards was so loud that I asked to be changed because it was impossible to sleep. The staff claimed that the hotel was fully booked, but rooms were available to book on various booking platforms! Strange.

WWondooPersonally, the music sound from the bar did not inturrupt us because we are used to those noise. But if you need a quiet place to sleep, then the hotel would be the bad choice. They did not have a hair dryer so we should’ve dry hair with A/C🤣 There were some bugs like ants and mosquitos which freaked my partner. But “I” was satisfied about the hotel’s cleanness and in/exterior because it looked quite good. If you like bar, there is a good bar in front of the hotel and also a taco place.
Overall, the experience in the hotel was quite good for me and the location was also so good because it’s so close(one block) from the 5th ave.

리리뷰어프라야 델 카르멘 지역에서 가장 핵심적인 위치에 있어요. 해변도 가깝고 버스도 가깝고 마트도 가깝고 이지역에 여행오실 예정이라면.
이 호틀을 선택하지 않을 이유가 없네요.
단. 조용히 책읽는것 좋아하고. 불면증 있는분에게는 이 호텔이 맞지않아요.
호텔은 아름답고. 안쪽 객실은 비교적 조용해요.
