Viva Azteca by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Very nice experience, we like the place, food and staff, the only things we didn’t like was the water that tasted salty and the WiFi service in the rooms, not good. Besides that, everything was very good.

Overall, not a terrible resort, but the food was pretty boring and repetitive except for the Mexican cuisine night, even the restaurants that you can book can only be booked three times and they were not that great. Some staff are rude. Beach is beautiful and the pool is OK.

Amazing vacation for a great price! The staff are extremely friendly. Gorgeous beach and lovely pool. The pool stays fairly quiet during the day but various activities planned if you want. The food at the buffet was good, the a la carte restaurants weren’t amazing. We found our dining experience better at the Maya hotel. The rooms had good AC. Nothing special but clean and comfy The staff work very hard with the shows and were always very entertaining and involved themself in the dancing/disco afterwards. Perfect walking distance to lots of shops and 5th avenue You feel extremely safe in the complex and there was even bikes provided to tour around Truly the best beach we have been too

The buffet food was mediocre and some dishes were just bland. Getting reservations at the restaurants was difficult to impossible for large groups and the customer service folks were not that helpful on that front. Also, for some reason when asking for toilet paper the front desk asked me what color band I had on my wrist because they have the bands they gives guests and the colors are based on how the stay was booked. Also, I had to go back to the front desk 2 more times and it took more than two hours to get toilet paper and towels. The beach for the property was great and nice access to it and amenities. Unless there were changes to the problems I encountered I would not go back to this property. This was our first time at an all-inclusive resort and I expected a lot more and was not pleased with some aspects of my stay.

Clean and quiet, nice family resort. I wish there was more things to do for the kids (11 y.o) but with a few excursions booked we had a wonderful family vacation.

Viva Azteca is a small lovely resort in Playacar, which is a beautiful, safe, gated area. The beach is beautiful. The entertainment staff is super friendly and works very hard. The service is great. Rooms are basic.

Buffet food was hit or miss. Would recommend restaurants within resort. The beach was breathtaking. Beach activities were fun. Location was great! Short taxi ride to 5th avenue and local street tacos.

Great hotel and great staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is excellent and there are loads of trips to do. 30 second walk from room to a very nice beach. Whilst the hotel was excellent overall, our room was a little bit damp and they did offer a dehumidifier which we never chased up. A last day changing room would be helpful as check in 12 and we stayed until 14.30. Would be very happy to stay again!
