Avanti Holiday Village

Amazing place for the whole family. Very friendly atmosphere and Dimitra at the restaurant is the best host we've ever come across. She greeted everyone with a smile every morning and made our days. All facilities were excellent and overtake a great place for its price.

This is not our first visit and it won’t be our last the apartments are large and have everything that you need the beds are comfortable and the air-conditioning works ,always hot water. We have never had any problems whilst staying there. The only negative is the towels they do supply towels for the pool as well as the apartments but they really do need updating getting quite thin and hard. Also you do need to take all your toiletries with you. A small amount of hand soap is supplied but nothing else there are supermarkets close, so you can buy everything you need. I do always take fairy liquids with me and my rubber gloves. We all have our funny ways There is actually a Laundrette if you do your own washing whilst on holiday. You can use all the facilities of the Avanti hotel as well. We use their pool sometimes. There are lots of restaurants to eat at which is one of the reasons we love this area. It is also about 30 minutes slow walk to the harbour or €2 on the bus. The bus stop is very close by.

Just arrived home from a 2 week stay at avanti village and I could be more pleased with our stay. The reception and restaurant was very friendly and always willing to help. The rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday not a single complaint. But what really made our stay was the entertainment team. They kept our 2 kids (10 and 6) busy all day! From aqua with jullia in the morning, to water polo in the afternoon. Ned does an amazing job at mini disco keeping it fun every time. Jullia and ned made us super comfortable talking to us and getting to know us. Never seen an entertainment team do this! in the evening and through the day there is plenty to do for the adults to, we personally like to lay around the pool so didn’t get involved in too many thing. They were never pushy or tried to make us do anything which we also loved Over all not a single complain and we 100% will be returning again

Rooms kept very simple but a very good size, beds very comfortable and clean. Balconies can be a bit shady ( we were on first floor) but to be honest it was so hot, the shade was a blessing! Great size swimming pool. We only had a snack at the poolside restaurant once and were disappointed but maybe we made the wrong choices! Good poolside bar, good selection. Harbour is walkable but again it was so hot while we were there we took the bus. Bus service really good, every fifteen minutes until late at night. Bars and restaurants close by.

Friendly helpful staff throughout resort, the pool was one of the nicest we’ve had abroad, lovely and warm and we enjoyed the swim up bar! Some days it was tricky to find a sun lounger but it got quieter in the afternoons. Apartment was roomy, clean, great air con, had everything we needed (as others have said you do need to buy washing up liquid and sponges). The apartments are all quite close together and a bit overlooked. We were self catering but had breakfast a couple of times at the resort which was delicious and good value, also had some takeaway food at lunch to eat by the pool and again very tasty and good value. We were ground floor which we enjoyed as we like cats, think we had 7 on our patio one night! We left a bowl of fresh water out for them which they appreciated. The village is a bit sad now as many places ship, but Fiesta and Kalhua always busy and lively. Excellent facilities,friendly helpful staff. Value for money. Ideal for families and couples. Food 5* I both village and hotel. This was a second visit. Will go again. central for Pathos Lots of trips available Use Jet 2 for best value

The Avanti Holiday Village is superb. The apartments are clean, spacious and comfortable, with sunny patio areas. The pool is fantastic, we loved the relaxing waterfall. Huge thank you to the incredible dining room staff, who go out of their way to make you welcome! We loved Breakfast Cat, Fiesta Cat & Patio Cat. From 15A1

This was a fantastic hotel and had great facilities. We stayed for the bed and breakfast option and it provided great cooking facilities in the apartment, even a full oven! During our stay, I became ill due to a bad coughing viral infection. This meant that we were unable to do the exploring around the island that we would usually do. However whilst this could have been awful, as we're not the usual sunbed around the pool types, I was so well looked after. The hotel breakfast staff, particularly Demetria were so helpful. This is more note-worthy as we are both vegan and I am gluten-free. We had notified the hotel before our trip and to our surprise, the staff had bought in some very special and tasty alternatives that fitted our dietary needs, so well. This was fantastic and were were treated so well. Demetria went above and beyond her role to accommodate and serve us. Thank you for making all the effort you did!

We stayed for 9 nights in May and couldn’t be happier! Demetra and Elsa in the restaurant were fantastic with our little boy, to the extent that each morning he would run up to them at breakfast and they would take him in their arms for a cuddle. Extremely wonderful woman who really looked after us! We were self catering at the time of booking but upgraded to the breakfast, really good food choices and plenty of choice for little ones. We had lunch on quite a few days and the food was exceptional, huge portion sizes. The apartments are slightly dated but were more than adequate, the beds were comfy and the shower was fine pressure wise and it was really handy to have a bath also when you’ve got children. This was my husbands first time in Cyprus and we are already talking about booking again to come back and stay at Avanti due to having such a lovely stay, the people working made such a difference. We walked to the harbour on a number of occasions along the sea front and visited the mall where there is a supermarket that stocked plenty of English products aswell. Looking forward to returning and seeing Dementra and Elsa again!
