일단 저희는 3일 정도 투숙했습니다.
우선 하수구 냄새가 정말 심합니다. 냄새 때문에 로비에 문의하니 향초를 피워주고 가더군요. (이런 일이 자주 발생하는 듯한 느낌을 받았습니다.) 하지만 향초 향과 하수구 냄새가 섞여 오히려 더 머리가 아픈 악취가 났습니다. 결국 다시 요청하여 방을 옮겼으나, 변경한 방에서도 여전히 냄새가 났습니다. (특히 욕실 하수구 냄새가 정말 심각합니다.)
또한, 수건에 붙어 있던 흰색 머리카락이 보이시나요? 방 배정을 받고 들어가자마자 발견한 것입니다. 청결 상태가 엉망이었고, 위치만 좋을 뿐 가격 대비 돈 낭비이자 최악의 호텔이었습니다. 숙박비가 결코 저렴하지도 않았습니다.
유튜브나 리뷰를 보면 이 호텔 수영장에 대한 평이 매우 좋게 나오는데, 물이 너무 차가워서 오래 수영할 수 없습니다. 고층에 위치한 수영장이라 몸이 젖은 상태에서 바람을 맞으면 오돌오돌 떨릴 정도입니다.
마지막으로, 1층 로비에서 문을 열어주고 짐을 들어주는 직원들이 있습니다. 저희가 퇴실하는 날 짐이 무거워 1층 계단에서 도움을 요청했으나, 싫은 표정을 지으며 저희를 비웃고 서로 비하하는 듯한 인상을 받았습니다.
버고 호텔을 고려 중이신 분들은 다시 한번 생각해 보세요. 극사실주의 리뷰입니다. 5성은커녕 3성도 아까운 호텔입니다.
We stayed at this hotel for three nights. First of all, the sewer smell in the room was unbearable. When we reported it to the front desk, staff came and simply lit a scented candle—giving the impression that this happens all the time. However, the candle scent mixed with the sewage smell, creating an even worse, headache-inducing odor. We requested a room change, but the second room smelled just as bad. The drain smell in the bathroom was especially terrible.
Also, as you can see in the photo, there was a white hair on the towel. We found it the moment we walked into the room after checking in. Hygiene and cleanliness were terrible. Aside from its good location, it was a complete waste of money and one of the worst hotels I've experienced, especially considering it wasn't cheap at all.
Many YouTube videos and reviews praise the hotel's swimming pool, but the water was freezing cold, making it impossible to stay in for long. Since the pool is on a high floor, stepping out dripping wet into the wind will leave you shivering.
Finally, there are staff members at the 1st-floor lobby who open doors and assist with luggage. On our check-out day, when we asked for help down the 1st-floor stairs because our bags were heavy, they gave us an annoyed look, smirked, and seemed to mock us among themselves.
If you are considering Virgo Hotel, please think twice. This is an entirely factual review. Calling this a 5-star hotel is ridiculous—it barely deserves 3 stars.
