카빌 호텔의 맨트라 서클에서 멋진 숙박을 경험했습니다. 전망도 좋고 위치도 좋았습니다.

바다앞이라 위치나 뷰가 좋았습니다 직원들도 친절하였으며 묵은 리조트 시설도 쾌적하고 식기들이 있어 음식해먹는데에도 편리했습니다 좋은 추억만들고 갑니다

저희는 이 호텔의 위치가 정말 마음에 들었습니다. 서퍼스 파라다이스의 모든 것을 즐기기에 충분히 가깝지만, 끊임없는 소음, 인파, 주차 혼잡에서 벗어나기에 적당한 거리였습니다. 중심가는 매우 혼잡해서 전기 자전거가 이동하기에 가장 좋은 방법이라는 것을 금방 알게 되었습니다. 서퍼스 파라다이스 자체는 활기찬 분위기, 다양한 즐길거리, 늦게까지 영업하는 상점, 훌륭한 음식점, 그리고 거리 공연까지 모든 것이 완벽했습니다. 저희는 바다 전망의 투룸 아파트를 예약했는데, 전망과 위치 면에서 기대 이상이었습니다. 호텔 시설도 훌륭했습니다. 실내외 수영장, 스파, 사우나, 스팀룸, 헬스장, 테니스 코트 등 다양한 편의시설을 이용할 수 있었습니다. 특히 저희 십대 자녀들은 이러한 시설들을 마음껏 즐겼습니다. 하지만 몇 가지 중요한 문제가 있었습니다. 저희는 26B호에 묵었는데, 6일 내내 에어컨이 작동하지 않아 여름철에 매우 불편했습니다. 또한 프런트 데스크 운영 시간이 제한적이라는 사실을 몰랐습니다. 아침 일찍과 오후 4시쯤에 전화를 걸었지만 아무도 없었습니다. 결국 이틀째나 사흘째 되는 날 누군가와 통화할 수 있었고, 호텔 매니저가 와서 도와주긴 했지만, 안타깝게도 그가 해줄 수 있는 건 거의 없었습니다. 에어컨 컴프레서가 고장 난 것 같다는 말을 듣고 에어컨을 전혀 사용할 수 없다는 사실에 실망했습니다. 아파트가 제대로 작동하지 않는다는 것을 알면서도 5박을 예약한 것은 정말 억울한 일이었습니다. 청결 문제도 심각했습니다. 아파트 전체 바닥이 끈적거리고 더러웠는데, 특히 주방 바닥은 기름때가 심하게 묻어 있고 불결했습니다. 아들 중 한 명은 소파가 끈적거린다고 했고, 욕실에는 머리카락이 있어서 더욱 실망스러웠습니다. 호텔과 주변 환경, 시설은 정말 마음에 들었지만, 청결도와 고객 서비스 면에서는 개선의 여지가 분명히 있습니다. 게다가, 장기 투숙객 한 분이 우리 아이들이 수영장에서 작은 고무공을 가지고 노는 것을 두고 규칙 위반이라며 항의하는 불쾌한 경험을 했습니다. 다른 아이들, 심지어 자기 아이들까지도 수영장에 뛰어들고 있었는데 말입니다. 방학 기간이라 많은 가족들이 시설을 적절하게 이용하고 있었던 점을 고려하면, 해당 불만은 다소 부당하게 느껴졌습니다. 또한, 저층 거주자들이 수영장 이용객들의 소음에 대해 간혹 불만을 제기한다는 점도 언급되었는데, 이는 단기 투숙객이 있는 경우 지속적으로 발생할 수 있는 문제일 수 있습니다. 전반적으로 이 숙소는 잠재력이 크지만, 유지 관리, 청결도, 그리고 투숙객과의 소통을 개선한다면 훨씬 더 나은 경험을 제공할 수 있을 것입니다.

오래된 호텔이라 객실이 낡았지만, 3일만 묵었기 때문에 큰 문제는 아니었습니다. 객실은 넓고 깨끗했고 침대도 괜찮았습니다. 직접 예약하시면 주차가 무료이고, 그렇지 않으면 1박에 35달러입니다.

The apartment is serviced by Wowstay, not the Mantra Hotel. So the key has to be picked up from a lockbox at the base of the hotel and returned to the same lockbox. It’s a very professional and easy process, however I would recommend when dropping the key off to drive your car from the car park to the front of the Mantra Hotel checkin area. Leave your car there as there is no other convenient / close places to park. Then walk up the stairs around the side of the Mantra building to the lockbox area. The apartment I stayed in was on the 21st floor facing the ocean. It has the same layout as the other apartments with a modern bathroom, large sized bath that looks out over the bedroom, out to the ocean. The main bedroom and lounge have floor to ceiling views. It has a large balcony and great views of the coast. It has an extra large flatscreen TV, nice art work, a full kitchen. It also has a very comfortable leather lounge. There is an open study area that is used as an open bedroom for two single beds. The main bedroom has a king size bed. However I did find it unusual that a single pop-up bed had been made with linen in the same main bedroom. ( it was placed between the window and the end the bed, which obscured the view and took up the rest of the space in the bedroom. It looked out of place, it wasn’t necessary) it was easy to fold up, which I did and I placed it in the other area with the two other beds. I suggest you do the same if this happens to you. Or maybe you can request that it’s not used in the apartment? I will next time I stay. The location is great, central to everything. I have stayed at the Mantra through the hotel a few times before, however it was cheaper through Wowstay and it was as nice as the hotel apartments, so I will stay here again when I’m visiting the Surfers Paradise. The extra bonus with booking this via Wowstay, is that a carpark space is included with the booking, however if you book an apartment through the Mantra Hotel, you will be charged an additional fee.

Surfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately we did not have a great stay. We booked 3 apartments for a family vacation and all 3 had issues. All 3 apartments had faulty air cons. 1 air con didn’t work at all and also a toilet in that apartment didn’t work either. Also when we arrived, we found one of our carparks had a car parked in it and that 2 other guests were allocated the same Carpark as us. We all contacted the letting company and all guests were told to seek help from the apartment reception who then told us all to contact the letting company as they don’t deal with the private apartments and their carparks. So it was back and forth for hours, we even visited the office twice until the car was finally removed. In terms of the no aircon/ broken toilet room, we were told there was nothing the letting company could do about it as they only have 1 staff member on so we’d have to wait for the next day and that some of our cost would be refunded (We are still waiting). The next day, in the morning the staff member visited and said the aircon is broken and they’ll have to find another room so will get back to us. It was close to the letting company’s closing time and we hadn’t heard back so we followed up only to be told there’s no more rooms available and our family would have to make do with the fans. Our family members in the no aircon room got sick from the heat/ stuffiness even with the doors and windows open. The amenities - lagoon, gym and pool are awesome So it was really unfortunate we did not enjoy our stay due to the lack of upkeep of the apartments and the service.
