Really good hotel, very clean and modern, similar to an Atour style hotel. The room was large and well equipped. We had a good stay whilst on our travels.

The hotel is situated on the 4th floor of a building that is part of a courtyard. You will have to peel your eyes to find the hotel’s mandarin signboard, and park your car at the basement (-3), then take the lift up. If u contact the hotel staff they will meet you at basement and carry your bags up for you. Overall we found the hotel to be a great value for money stay in Yajiang. The furnishings look new, everything is very clean and comfortable. Hot water in good working order. They also gave us a free room upgrade. The staffs are genuinely kind and friendly people. Will definitely return if we come by this area again!

Due to Yajiang unique location (built on hillside with a river flowing through), hotel is on 4th to 11th floors of a building with carpark on 4F to 9F. Lobby in on 10F. Many rooms do not have windows. Hotel is walking distance to many eateries. Rooms have good floor heating and quick to heat shower. However rooms are not too clean as the sloppiness can be seen from desk on window sills, tv consoles, bathroom counters etc. Bedsheets and towels looked clean though.

We were initially assigned a twin room instead of the double room we had booked. We went straight back to reception, but the woman on reception wasn't there, so a member of the restaurant staff kindly asked us to return in 10 minutes. When we came back, the receptionist got into the lift with other guests and asked us to wait again. After she returned, she continued to ignore our request and instead spent time checking in a newly arrived group and making three reservations for them before finally changing our room. We only needed a new key card for a room that was already available, so it should have taken less than a minute. The rest of the staff were polite and welcoming, but the receptionist's customer service was disappointing and made a poor first impression. The room only provided disposable towels instead of normal towels, and the window was very dirty. On a positive note, breakfast was good, and the gentleman working there was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
