Realmente é muito bom, colaboradores são simpáticos , comida muito bom, muito sossego e TUDOOOO de bommm. Não vejamos a hora de voltar.

We spent 10 nights at the Ocean Bay and had an amazing time. Form the moment we arrived everyone was smiling and helpful. Staff greeted us with some cake and a glass of Madeira wine… so nice. The hotel had literally opened the day before our arrival so there were maybe 5 couples our first couple nights. Room was bright clean and views were amazing! The front desk called up within the hour to make sure we had everything we wanted . As the days progressed we were given a bottle of wine and cheese try to enjoy on our balcony … Such a great touch and made us feel so welcomed . We enjoyed many nights on our balcony watching the promenade below and the sound of the ocean at night was so nice to fall asleep to. We kept our balcony door open to listen to it . The gardens and pool were beautiful. Refreshing as they are not heated but that’s ok! Sun is hot! The buffet restaurant was great and food especially breakfast was amazing! Loved the coffee machines with all the options from Americanos to Mocha chinos… The bar tender was great and even learned a Canadian drink we asked for… Wait staff were so pleasant and hard working and did their best to speak to us ! We already miss our sunsets and ocean sounds and this hotel. This vacation was everything and the memories we made were amazing!

Charming service, every room with an ocean view. Every evening there are artistic performances. Clean, good food, and beautiful greenery on the hotel grounds. A huge plus is the access to the promenade, which allows for long walks along the black beach.

this hotel was recommended to us by @cestovnibalicky. Great food and amazing evening music programs. Very helpful and kind staff especially Mrs. Manuela in the dining room. The cleanliness of the entire hotel and the pool is great. ZThank you for a wonderful holiday in Madeira.

This is a wonderful hotel with exemplary staff all round. My first visit to Madeira and I can't wait to come back. Our 3rd floor room faced the sea and the views are beautiful. The sound of the sea is such a joy. The food is good quality but short on veggie and vegan options. It improved when I asked Carla the guest support manager. The courtesy bus to Funchal is a real bonus. There are walks along the seafront in both directions. Going inland however is all uphill, which is fine but my knees struggled a bit. I am quite old though. If you want an easy, warm, friendly holiday, the Ocean Bay is an excellent choice.

Just returned from a lovely break at this hotel It is located 50 minutes from the airport but the airport bus runs hourly and is very easy to get and taxis are easily available as well The staff went above and beyond to make our stay went well, from the manager ,reception staff bar staff and restaurant team all made us feel special The all inclusive menu was varied and there was always something we enjoyed. Breakfast was the best meal and and there was food and drink almost all day The pool areas, 2 pools was very clean and accessible with plenty of loungers The ground floor layout with social area of sofas etc had entertainment each evening flowed into the buffet area and out onto terrace which overlooked sea , which was really lovely . Every room was sea view with a balcony ,and spacious although bathroom was a bit dated . There is a promenade running past hotel which allows you to walk most of way into town, or there are buses which run frequently from a 10 minute walk We really enjoyed Madeira as a couple the beach is not sandy but there are lots of lidos all along coast so swimming in sea is very popular, all in all a lovely holiday

Pestana ocean Bay Hotel was our last two days at Madeira. We wanted to get some relaxing in before our flight, so we booked this all inclusive hotel with pools. It was a pleasant stay, with a premium room with air-conditioning and all meals and drinks covered. The room was a good size and the beds and pillows were very nice. You get two pillows of different sizes and thickness which was great. The windows and balcony overlooked the ocean, very nice. The floor was not as clean as could be, walking around barefoot in the room was a little dirty. Besides that the room had a little fridge and stove but we barely used it. The meals were decent, just your buffet style breakfast lunch and dinner. Some meats could be a little dry but most dishes were quite good for the price. The drinks were good, especially the cocktail menu is pretty decent in variation. Some cocktails are only for premium which feels a little misleading since you book all inclusive. However, they were very good depending on your bartender. One bartender was very skilled and made great cocktails, where others were just okay. The pool was very nice, we only used one of the two, it was clean and deep enough to have a nice swim. It wasn't super busy so there was enough space in the pool and on the beds. Some people still put their towels down to claim beds but it was not a problem since it wasn't very busy. The staff was overal friendly and helpful. They cleared the tables often which was nice. The reception was also very friendly and hospitable, offering us to come in a little earlier since our plans had changed and allowing us to stay a little longer after checkout so we didn't have to wait too long for our flight. They also organised some entertainment on Saturday afternoon at the pool, the music quiz was fun. On Saturday evening they also provided a bus ride to the fireworkshow in the Funchal harbour, a good service although the communication on the pickup point wasn't very clear. (we waited in front of the hotel hut the bus was outside the parking lot) All in all a good stay at the hotel. The room floor could be cleaned better but the rooms are good with nice beds. Don't expect a mind blowing food experience but it's definitely not bad and plenty of options. It's great for relaxing by the pool and watching the waves from the terrace.

Hotel lovely, room large, bed comfortable ,food very good all the facilities you need, lovely balcony overlooking the beach. Staff very friendly and accommodating especially Manuela Garanito. Thank you for lovely holiday

Hotel was nice clean and staff where good. Location on the beach great stayed in the 7th Floor and was lovely to leave door on balcony open and listen to sea at night. This is the last hotel from the town so 10-15 in and out to Funchal in Taxi for dinner each night. Food and drink in hotel was terrible. Food is cold mostly fish or pasta or salads breakfast was something similar eggs fried and put on a tray not great. Cakes are good. All inclusive drink is undrinkable beer 2.4 strength so may as well drink water. Cocktails like water. So had dinner on first night and breakfast and that’s was the end of it. Not a place to be if you like your food massive room for improvement.

The hotel was fantastic, staff were friendly and amenable, the service was excellent. Food was good quality and they had a good variety including gluten free options. The pool was great, quiet overlooking the beach. Had the best girls trip, Funchal is a beautiful place and would definitely return.
