'It was clean and comfortable, although we went to breakfast at 9.30 am and there were no croissants or muffins left and very little on the continental breakfast, the cooked breakfast was excellent. Also, we went down for cocktails in the happy hour 2 cocktails for £12, we got overcharged, and when we asked the waitress to check, she didn't come back before we needed to leave,. Overall a good night's stay 😀'

'The hotel is located just by the castle . Amazing location so convenient for everything It’s an old , elegant hotel with a beautiful entrance to the rooms with a great staircase. The rooms need some renovation as it’s obvious they’ve seen better days but it’s totally normal for this type of building to have certain old features in the bathroom or other areas . All in perfect working order The bed and pillows are comfortable and crisp . All clean ( the mirrors and doors could do with a bit more in depth cleaning as I believe they are overlooked but the rest is all good ) The receptionists are all very friendly and helpful They keep suitcases for free in the hotel if you’re travelling some time after your check out The hotel has good facilities , offers full breakfast for £10 and has a bar for snacks and drinks . It also has meeting rooms and other facilities . Great value for money as I got this through a trip.com offer that worked out cheaper than direct booking All in all a great , comfortable stay One more thing the road around the castle seems to be having work done quite often. This is not the hotel’s fault but earplugs for a lye in but be advisable as work starts early'

'Staff were very helpful , breakfast is good . Location is in city center everything is convenient. I will consider to stay again in next time when I come back.'

'The room is fantastic. It is clean, large and tidy. Everything was prepared, such as a hair dryer, a water boiler and shampoo. The location is also great. The only sad point is that I had requested a high floor to watch the trains, but the mirror seems to have been stuck with some layers, which blocked the view. Apart from this, everything was good and awesome. I would definitely book again when I travel to Cardiff!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍🏻'

'I had an excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm hospitality and professionalism. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated how attentive and friendly everyone was throughout my stay. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The bed and linens were high quality, and I slept better here than I do at home! Small details, like complimentary water, good lighting, and thoughtful amenities, made a big difference. The location is perfect—close to everything I wanted to see, yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfort, and convenience makes it a place I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. I’ll absolutely stay here again on my next trip!'
