리리뷰어An amazing place up in the mountain, peaceful and tranquil, great for an escape. It's located lower down than the main village street and only takes a few minutes if walking. However, the owner was incredible, spoke fluent English and on my arrival took me to all the noteworthy places by vehicle which are within 1km. He always offered to take me somewhere if I was going out.
The room was very spacious, clean and decorated fitting in with the Japanese theme, the view was good and there's also a balcony accessed from the outside. Bath was good to soak after exploring during the day. The service and food are great, hotpot was delicious, breakfast and coffee perfect. Well worth a visit, highly recommend!!! 💯🔥

As a solo traveller staying for one night, I was genuinely impressed with Portare Home in Mae Kampong. It strikes a perfect balance between feeling homely and offering all the amenities you’d expect from a high-quality stay, all set within a beautiful jungle environment.
Arriving by car was straightforward, and one of the first things that stood out was the charming luggage pulley system that carries your bags up to the main house. It’s a small touch, but really memorable and adds to the character of the place. I was greeted by several friendly staff members, and check-in was quick and easy.
The design and architecture of the property are what initially drew me in, and it absolutely lived up to expectations. I was shown to my room straight away and couldn’t have been happier. The bed was very comfortable, and the standout feature is the private balcony, which looks directly out into the surrounding jungle. It’s the kind of place you can sit for hours, just listening to nature.
The room itself is thoughtfully equipped, with bathrobes, towels, a hairdryer, and a full set of bathroom amenities. There’s also a fridge stocked with cold bottled water. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower and a beautiful freestanding bath positioned to take in the jungle views.
The atmosphere really comes into its own in the evening, when the property is softly lit, creating a calm and relaxing setting. Waking up early to watch the sunrise from the balcony was a highlight. The light filtering through the trees and the sounds of the forest make it feel very special.
In the morning, I was served a traditional Thai breakfast, with the option of fresh drip coffee and orange juice, which was a great start to the day.
The location is also ideal, around a 10 to 15 minute walk from the main Mae Kampong village, so you’re close enough to explore while still enjoying peace and quiet.
Overall, this was a really relaxing and restorative stay. I’m very glad I chose Portare Home and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Kampong.

It was our first time staying in a traditional Japanese establishment, and I must say I was very pleased. An experience definitely worth repeating, thanks also to the unique and always helpful staff. AAnny Cheng Yui Ting이 글램핑장의 호스트의 도움으로, 우리는 치앙마이 공항에서 이곳까지 운전해 줄 세단을 그들에게서 빌렸습니다. 매우 외진 곳이었지만, 호스트가 그런 서비스를 제공해 주어서 기쁩니다. 우리는 그 위치를 충분히 알고 있었고, 방콕 여행 7일 후에 휴식을 취하기 위해 여기 온 이유이기도 합니다.
우리는 또한 캠프장의 청결함에 매우 놀랐습니다. 캠프장 주변에 모기나 다른 작은 곤충이 없었습니다. 우리는 그것에 대해 잘 대비했지만, 이런 걱정 없이 환경에 매우 만족합니다. 그들은 이 상태로 오기 위해 많은 통제를 했을 것입니다. 감사합니다!
서비스는 매우 좋았고, 골프카가 있어서 아침, 점심 또는 저녁을 먹을 수 있는 레스토랑까지 운전해 주었습니다. 저녁 식사는 피자나 무카타를 제공하는데, 아마 모두가 이걸 주문할 겁니다.
저희는 Kissing Star에서 2박을 했습니다. 첫날 밤은 MaeKampong에서 길거리 음식을 사서 저녁을 먹었고, 둘째 날은 Mookata를 먹었습니다. 솔직히 말해서 음식도 비싸지 않아서 2인분 세트는 다 먹기 힘들었습니다.
시설은 사진에서 충분히 설명이 될 것 같습니다. Marshall 사운드바가 있고 Netflix, YouTube 등을 사용할 수 있어서 방에서 휴식을 취하고 자연을 감상하고 TV를 볼 수 있습니다.
호스트와도 Whatsapp으로 소통할 수 있으니 필요한 게 있으면 말씀해 주세요. 도와드리려고 노력할 겁니다. 이렇게 외딴 지역에 있으면서도 최고의 서비스를 제공하려고 노력하는 그들의 환대가 정말 마음에 들어요!!!

The house is clean, a lot of space and bathroom is very convenient since they do wet and dry bathroom in the duplex.
Parking is free at the parking they provided.
The stream in front of the house is full of flow energy which that flowing sound makes my mind stay so calm.
Worth the money and worth the driving.

The room is nice, cool and clean. We stayed there for 3 nights. Good for peace and alone time since the neighborhood is quiet. Owner is nice and kind, assisted us in car transpo and gave us insect repellant.
Cons:
No convenience store near, nearby restaurants close at 4pm so best if you can stock up food before going here. Transpo is expensive since it’s uphill and far from city center.

Aalan118The access to the villa was covered by soil and mud. Its slippery. The room's entrance door is using glass door which can see the entire room which I dont feel comfortable. Theres no curtain or shades to cover it. Theres also a cockroach in the room.
