This beautifully appointed, newly renovated, historic Lake Placid home is now available! This is the original home of the family who founded and operated the "North Pole, Santa's Village." In tribute to their family and all of the 'spirit' they have given so many, the home is now known as The Claus Family Lodge. This home has character like no other. Artisanship, and architecture only found in Lake Placid in the 40's has been modernized and is now available for all to enjoy. The living area exhibits expansive windows with views of White Face Mountain and the famous glacier Lake Placid. In addition, the house is only a five minute walk to Mirror Lake with all of its shops and internationally renowned restaurants. Claus Family Lodge is equipped with a Huge (20x40)Volley Ball /Badminton with a sand court, BBQ gas grill, large fire pit, hot tub, an additional lot with kids play ground, horse shoes and more. Inside there are new amenities a foosball table, pingpong table, 2 -80 inch flat smart Tv's, a modern and upgraded kitchen with beautiful slate floors, Carrara Granite countertops, 3 fireplaces, 7 bedrooms and best of all, the Lodge will comfortably accommodate 16.The Lodge has a double lot which has a children's play ground. The family room has gorgeous original barn wood walls, a wet bar, heated floors, a fireplace and furniture that is wonderfully cozy and inviting. The Hot tub is super easily accessible from the sliding glass doors. The kitchen has been upgraded with brand new appliances, 2 ice makers.. 2 refrigerators, double sink, beautiful granite, slate floor, pots, pans, toaster oven, fondue maker, blender, mixer, and Oneida silverware to complement the Mikasa Calder Red dish setting for 26. The dinning room has 2 -106 inch tables and close by is a 54 inch round to easily serve meals or play cards at the same time. Around the corner is the living room with a comfy curved couch, marble fireplace and beautiful large windows to view Whiteface and Lake Placid. The bedrooms begin shortly thereafter, each offering a pillow top king bed, with a 1000 thread count sheets to help you relax and get some well needed rest. The Master has a king pillow top with 2 single pullout sleeper couches, bedroom 2 and 3 both house king pillow tops, The upstairs hosts 2 bathrooms, 1 king, 1 queen and 3 sets of bunks. All beautifully appointed and comfortable for you to enjoy. The downstairs game room is full of leather sleepers, an 80 inch TV a pingpong table Foosball and dart board. There is another bedroom that offers additional sleeping and a downstairs full bath. The carpets are plush and the environment is inviting. We strive for quality in hopes that all of our guests have a terrific stay and a relaxing and enjoyable time. We want to provide you with a "no hassle" experience. This brand new charming Ski Chalet directly overlooks Mirror lake with million dollar views of the famous Olympic Ski Jumps. This home was where a famous modern cult singer grew up. The inside of the Ski Jump Chalet has high end comfort and the location and charm can't be beat. This is a five bedroom Chalet with four FULL bathrooms. The Chalet features all new appliances, a cozy living room with a stone gas fireplace, a game room downstairs with foosball table. The large open kitchen has large story book windows that look directly at Mirror Lake, Marcy Mountain and Olympic Ski jumps. The kitchen connects directly with the dining room and good sized seating area that allows for conversation and game playing while preparing meals. The kitchen has new double ovens, double microwaves, a new gas range and the counters are all hand crafted butcher block. There is a very large fridge and new dishwasher. The views from the top deck overlooking Mirror Lake are inviting and extremely peaceful. In addition, the private backyard hosts a fire pit and nearby is a private six person hot tub. Inside of the house, all of the five new beds - three kings, and two full size -are pillow top mattresses with down comforters, duvets and cozy high end quality linens. (extra blankets and pillows available if needed.)There is a washer and dryer with lots of space for storage as well.One of the best things about this property is it's proximity to town. The one minute walk down the driveway brings you to Main Street, Mirror Lake and all of the Village shops and restaurants. The owners are local and happy to help and provide local knowledge at all times.We also sanitize the hot tub before and after each stay, and provide one tank of propane for your convenience.Unfortunately we are unable to have pets, but that's not because we don't love them. Per property and casualty Insurance and local zoning and code recommendations - security cameras are above exit doors only. These are in plain sight and can be disabled by the guest request upon check in. There is absolutely no camera or monitoring of any kind inside this home. Please note, this is a Private home, therefore there are no handicapped accommodations. In addition, you are just on the backside but still close to Main Street in the Village of Lake Placid. This home is the perfect location for your family or group getaway. As you have the best of all three .. privacy , restaurants, shopping opportunity and outdoor adventure! Loaded with extra amenities, this home features 7 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a beautiful Adirondack fireplace, a large dining room, a wine bar, Wi-Fi, throughout, an 8 person Hot Tub, BBQ Grill, ADK firepit, A customized POOL TABLE, a ping pong table, book collection, puzzles , movies and games galore for the kids and kids at heart! There is a mini fridge as well in the garage which is set up as an extended game room. For those who wish to stay inside, there are two 40 inch flat screen TV's equipped with gaming options if you wish to bring along with you.. Wanting to go outside... you will enjoy the Azure's grounds which are gorgeous and filled with adirondack mountain flowers and botanical bushes. There is plenty of room to start up a game of volleyball, croquet and or football toss! This home is truly a dream come true! The PRIVATE BEACH of Mirror Lake is only available to our guests. It is just minutes away - talk a short walk through our backyard and down the hill and you are there. The Beach features picnic tables and a dock. We share the Beach with a few other private owners. Owners are deeded private use for 2 hours a day . From 4-6pm. The other hours of he day are open for our guests to use and enjoy. We ask that these hours are respected. Thank you. The 7 bedrooms include 2 kings, 4 queens, 1 twin, and 2 bunk-beds. All of the bedding is 600+ thread count cotton and all beds have cozy pillow tops, so you have luxurious and comfortable sleeping accommodations. There are deep closets, extra blankets and pillows in every bedroom. The bathrooms are all well equipped with soft plush towels and new showers. 도시에서 가장 좋은 호텔, 고전적인 장식, 호텔의 규모 및 크리스마스 장식의 모든 구석에있는 장식 흔적은 모두 사람들을 행복하게 만듭니다! 연고의 유일한 비행은 방의 내부 시설이 약간 낡았다는 것입니다. 개조하기를 희망합니다. Lake Placid의 도시는 겨울에는 눈이 너무 아름다워서 나중에 여기에 머무를 것입니다!
