You will love our condo that is located at The Whaler with one of the best locations on Kaanapali Beach. We are located right on the beach and a few steps away from Whalers Village. VRBO walking map is incorrect. I think it is about 30 steps from our building to the sand. The pool and spa are right next to the beach walk.If you prefer an oasis of tranquility over the many crowded resorts in the area, look no further than Aston at The Whaler on Kaanapali Beach. Comprised of two 12-story mid-century towers on six acres of lush landscape including a lovely koi pond with a waterfall, this condo-hotel offers full kitchens with a variety of room configurations and captivating views. Enjoy the peace and quiet from the swimming pool overlooking the ocean or a stroll around the beautifully manicured grounds. For a joyful start to your day, join us for fish feedings at 8:30 am each morning at the Koi Pond.Our large two-bedroom condo is over 1400 square feet and is equipped with a full-size kitchen, central air conditioning with separate units in each bedroom, new Samsung Flat Screen Smart TV’s in the living room and both bedrooms, Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, washer and dryer (stacked) including detergent. It was tastefully updated in December 2019 and more updating in 2021 to include new plush carpeting, wood ceiling treatments with recessed LED lights controlled by dimmer switches to set the lighting according to your needs. Ceiling fans in all the rooms.Our choices of furnishings were designed for comfort and convenience conducive to the tropical climate without compromising on the everyday amenities that we've all come to enjoy at home. WHALER UNIT 312, located on the more comfortable and quiet (North) side on the third floor of Tower 1, is an ocean and garden view, five-room suite of luxury accommodation rooms in The Whaler on Ka'anapali Beach, the 'Grand Lady' of resort condominiums centrally located on the beach rated by many travel magazines as the best beach on Planet Earth . . . Ka'anapali Beach, Maui.For that special Hawaiian vacation, WHALER UNIT 312 is spectacular and has recently completed a half-year full renovation for our guests. It is a 5-STAR resort condo in every respect. Newly appointed with an updated kitchen featuring G.E. Cafe and SubZero appliances and beautiful granite countertops. The gourmet kitchen and two luxury baths are updated with extensive use of elegant marble tiles and best-quality cabinets and fixtures. The condo has a convenient wine chiller-refrigerator and cabinet bar for entertaining. The primary bath features a designer marble-tiled 'shower chamber' with opposing 'his and hers' Grohe shower heads and controls. The second bathroom also includes a washer & dryer for smaller loads to use at your convenience. Built of steel-reinforced concrete walls, ceilings and flooring, the towers of The Whaler are structurally superior and measurably quieter than many of the surrounding resorts. As an added measure to further assure guest privacy and satisfaction, extensive use of the newest high-tech soundproofing materials was installed within the bath walls and layered on all water pipes during the recent remodel of the condo to minimize audible water pipe sound and any other noise from transferring into Unit 312 from surrounding apartments. Unit 312 is a very quiet suite of rooms -- restful enjoyment of the condo is assured.Unit 312 is a comfortable one-bedroom suite (extra sleeping accommodations using the convertible sofa), with two elegant baths. This suite of rooms has a fabulous view of the beach, beach walk, and the Pacific Ocean beyond, mystical Black Rock (a sacred Hawaiian volcanic rock feature of Ka'anapali Beach), and spectacular, picture-perfect Maui sunsets directly from our lanai. So, there were no toiletries and they did not provide though we requested - simple toiletries like toothbrush, tooth paste and razors. This was unlike other hotels which we stayed in O'ahu and Kauai, they were given upon request and given daily knowing that you have requested the 1st day. The pillows were soft and when we requested for them, they came back with 'unavailable', though they managed to get them the next day. The room was made, except for the beds (interesting) and cup was not washed though we left it soaked by the basin for the ease of the housekeeper. The counter that provided beach towels closed by 5pm? The pool is quiet and dead. Haha. Its an average stay.
