아에이 앳 카아나팔리 쇼어스(Aei at Kaanapali Shores)

It’s challenging when you need maintenance because they’re not available right away. We had a refrigerator with non-working water dispenser. We asked if someone can come and fix it and nobody came. So we just had to buy bottled water. But the location is great, there’s a grocery and some restaurants in front of the hotel, but the best part is there are food trucks every night within walking distance of the hotel. Good value for the money,

Lush grounds. Quiet. Private. Good food trucks next door. Amazing time.

Carpet on Hallways and condo was pretty old and bumpy

They did have great views from the beach and the little paths around one of the pools were nice to seclude yourself and get some shade. Otherwise, the description of a garden view was misrepresented. We had a view directly on to the restaurant so everyone could look in on us as they walked by and the room smelled horrible upon our arrival. The curtains were stained and had holes in them which in the morning light came through and the smell didn’t go away for 3 days. We were informed we wouldn’t have maid service until the 5th day of our week long stay and when I asked what to do with our trash in the mean time, I was informed I needed to take it upstairs to the second floor garbage shoot. So my trash got to ride in the elevator with other travelers staying at the same property just to be disposed instead of taken outside somewhere. There were some other issues so we ended our stay early.

We have stayed here before and truly enjoyed it. This trip was extremely disappointing. The room wasn't what we expected. The front desk staff was terribly rude and unfriendly which was shocking. The restaurant staff was amazing and should be training the front desk staff on customer service. The bellman was amazing too.

Staff were all friendly. Room was okay, I was expecting more updates, bathroom was small cramped for two, carpeting needs replaced (worn and deeply stained). Other than all of this, it is a lovely property, nicely landscaped, the restaurant was good shops were nice, workout room a definite plus.

Excellent pool, facilities, location and services

Love the unit. Well maintained and clean. Great view of the ocean. Only suggestion would be upgrade the bed.

I stayed at many hotels around the world. But I can only say that this resort, has one of the rudest customer service, extremely expensive for what you pay for and what you get. With spending over $5k (just the stay) at this hotel, you would think there would be something special. Something worth staying for. Some folks from the front desk were pretty rude to us when we first checked in. We came to this trip for and on my birthday, later we saw that they offered free box of chocolates to people's birthday. But not to me. They also allowed other people to check in early (9:30am) while they wouldn’t even let me check in until the clock struck 4pm. And she had to “check to make sure if there are any rooms”. Everything is outdated. They have a ps3 for you to play DVDs. DVDs you can rent downstairs. However, it's only 1 DVD or 1 game at a time. The bbq grill is in a hidden and strange location, in front of the hotel next to the tennis court, and it's not on some of the maps (i.e. in the elevator or by the valet). It was unfortunate because it made more sense to have the grill by the pool, no? Parking was tough if you have a big car. We got a BMW x5 because that was the only car left for us and none of the covered parking spot fit. They were all compact.
