This log home features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a large living room with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace with propane insert. Kitchen is stocked with cookware, dinnerware and utinsils. Master bedroom has a queen bed, bedroom #2 upstairs has 2 twin beds and bedroom #3 has a bunk bed with 3 full beds. Additional sleeping area downstairs in smaller living room with a queen sleeper sofa. Additional amenities include washer and dryer, bath linens, coffee bar and all TV's have Dish Network. Our rustic cozy cabin is located at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking a wide bend in Nolin Lake. The charming wrap around covered porch provides plenty of room for outside activities come rain or shine and the views from the back porch and yard are spectacular, especially at sunset . An outside nook table and chairs provide a perfect place to enjoy your early morning coffee. The porch swing is a favorite place to unwind as you relive the day’s activities. There is plenty of on-site parking including room for your boat and trailer. Enjoy an easy walk down to the lake and bring your fishing pole or a swimsuit. We are located just around a bend in the lake from Moutardier Marina and 11 miles from Nolin State Park which has a 9 mile walking trail. We are only 10 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park’s numerous hiking trails and Minutes from Horse Back Riding stables. The cabin has one bed on the first floor which opens to a large room for friends or family to gather in. A wooden log stairway takes you up to the loft which has 3 queen size beds in seperate cubbies and a recreational area. The bathroom is attached to the firstfloor bedroom and has a large walk-in shower along with a toilet and sink. The kitchen includes a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. There are ample cookingware , dishware and utensils and other appliances include a toaster, keurig/drip coffee maker and crockpot. Outside amenities include a gas grill and a firepit for magic nighttime lakeside tales and of course, s’mores ! Beautiful Lakefront Home with lake access!Beautiful house located on Nolin River Lake. Sleeps 8-10 with plenty of parking. The house features two large decks one with a deck level hot tub and the other is a covered outdoor kitchen with running water during warm months. There is a washer and dryer available. Mammoth Cave is approximately 20 minute drive. Moutardier Marina has pontoon and jet ski rentals. The closest boat ramp is in the neighborhood within a five minute drive. Blue Holler Off-road Park is 10 minute drive. Shady Hollow Golf course 8 miles away! Come and enjoy life at the lake!Please be advised! Nolin Lake is owned by the US Army Corps of Engineers. It is used for flood control. The best access for the lake is during the summer months. the Corps raises the lake for the summer starting in April and typically stays at “summer pool” until early October. Winter pool is 25-30 feet below summer pool. Which makes the lake inaccessible during winter months. During rainy seasons the lake has been known to go 25 ft above summer pool. Also making the lake hard to access. We try very hard to keep the access to the lake available but sometimes the levels change drastically and are hard to keep up.
