JjhonyjaimesI have to say that my impression of this hotel is pretty confusing. The hotel itself is very nice. The room was big and comfortable. There is a constant water supply because they put free water bottles next to the elevator. Plus, it has a water filter right at the bathroom sink. The staff is kind enough to help you out to solve your problems. However, as usual, you should speak a little Chinese or use a translator app. There is a swimming pool, two hot spring pools and a fish pool (those small fish which eat your skin). That was also very nice. Btw, there is a small coffee shop that sells a very good coffee and they also allow you to buy certain products as self-service, such as beer, soft drinks and some Chinese snacks. There are signs everywhere that clearly state that smoking is not allowed. However, everyone smokes everywhere. So, if you are a smoker, just do it. I really enjoyed the amount of paintings there were everywhere.
The main attraction Holiday Beach is about 15 to 20 minutes walk. Although the beach is nice, it lacks most of the services foreigners are used to, for the example, umbrellas, tables and chairs, that kind of stuff. So, being comfortable at the beach is not an easy task. A not so good thing about the hotel is that there isn't any supermarket, convenience store, or any other attraction nearby. So, don't expect anything else other than walking through the beach, and enjoying the sea view. At the beach, there are barbecue places and you can always find beer. 1988 is a good German white Pilsen.
So, if you enjoy being at the beach, with let's say, a lot of privacy, this hotel is really good. But if you also want to come out the hotel and go for a walk at the city, check some restaurants and so, better stay near the qilou old street and take a taxi to the hotel. Otherwise, you need to take taxis from the hotel to almost all of the other attractions.
