조식 운영 시설을 갖춘 뉴질랜드 와이카토 호텔

This motel is located a very short drive from great restaurants and large grocery stores. The grounds and pool are immaculate, very friendly staff everywhere. Rooms are spotless and our deck was large with a table and 2 chairs. Lower floors have covered patios. Very nice! We would stay here again.

5인 가족으로서 정말 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 방음 처리된 객실은 깨끗했고, 포섬 나이트 트레일 런(Possum Night Trail Run) 출발 지점에 편리하게 위치해 있었습니다. 편의시설도 쉽게 이용할 수 있었고, 밤 10시까지 수영할 수 있어서 정말 좋았습니다. 다음 숙박이 기대됩니다!

I arrived in Taupo on the morning Air NZ flight from AKL, upon arrival at the Chevron Motel, 4 hours before the published check-in time, I had planned to ask to have my luggage stored while I go about other business. The receptionist kindly asked me to wait while she checked to see if my room was ready, and if so, I could have my room right away. Lucky for me it was, I was very pleased with the initiative and flexibility offered. My booking included a living area with dining table, kitchen, sofa, spare single bed, a separate bedroom, and a dedicated parking space. My stay of 5 nights was very comfortable, and I will definitely use this motel again on my next visit. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvements, first - a split type AC unit was present in the living room, it would be great if there could be a second unit installed in the bedroom. Internet connectivity, available 24/7, while adequate, did have limited bandwidth affecting video streaming from Netflix/YouTube etc. Lastly, it would be great if the TV provided in the living room had a larger screen. In summary, I was very pleased with my stay at the Chevron Motel, the room offered great value for money, and I was completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay.

방이 정말 넓어서 텅 빈 것 같은 느낌도 들어요. 발코니에 놓인 커다란 나무 테이블이 정말 마음에 들어요. TV 채널도 다양하고요. 무료 주차장과 지하 주차장은 하루 25달러에 이용할 수 있어요. 엘리베이터를 타면 객실 층으로 바로 갈 수 있어요. 레스토랑에서는 타우포 호수의 한 모퉁이가 보여요. 가격도 적당하고 맛도 좋아요. 야외 수영장과 헬스장도 있고, 겨울에도 사람들이 수영을 하러 와요. 객실에서 로비로 이어지는 복도가 정말 아름다워요. 마음에 들어요. 조식도 꼭 언급해야겠어요. 벌집 모양 쿠키가 있고, 커피콩으로 갈아 만든 커피가 나오고, 치즈 종류도 다양해요. 벽난로에는 진짜 장작이 타서 정말 감동적이에요.

확실히 오래된 모텔이지만 사실은 현지와 비슷해요. 위치가 호수 바로 옆에 있어서 아침에 호수와 아름다운 풍경을 볼 수 있다는게 장점이에요. 오리를 보세요. 서비스는 정말 말로 표현할 수 없을 만큼 어렵습니다. 도착 당일 1시쯤 프런트에 계신 아주머니께 가서 체크인을 해달라고 했습니다. 그 이유는 그녀가 아무 말도 없이 거절당했다는 것이었습니다. 몸이 좋지 않아 퇴근해야 하니, 할 일이 있으면 옆집 호텔 프런트로 가라고 하더군요. 지금 예약 가능한 방이 있는지 물었습니다. 노인 두 명과 아이 한 명에게 먼저 쉴 수 있는 방을 주면 지금은 자리가 없다고 3시 이후에 오면 퇴근하고 집에 가야 한다고 직설적으로 거절할 것입니다! 화가 나서 어쩔 수 없이 옆집 호텔로 갔습니다. 같은 문제가 알려지자 호텔측에서는 아주머니가 어떻게 손님을 이렇게 대할 수 있느냐며 즉각 사과하고 방을 내주었습니다. 호수 전망 방으로 가세요. 다음날 비가 많이 와서 못가게 됐고, 방에 머물며 호수뷰를 바라보며 오리에게 먹이를 주는 것이 가장 좋았습니다.

We stayed one night en route to Hobbiton and liked it so much that we stayed another 2 later in our trip. Great location, and Cambridge is a relatively easy base to get to other places from. Beautiful decor throughout, nice finishings and really peaceful. It was very busy during our stay (around Christmas/NY) so a little wait for food/drinks but that’s to be expected. We had positive interactions with all hotel and restaurant staff. My only feedback is that the switches in the rooms have blue lights on them, which, for people that like a black-out room, can disrupt sleep. Hopefully an easy fix!

저희는 2박을 했고 이 호텔에서의 숙박을 정말 즐겼습니다. 저희는 Marriott Bonvoy에서 최상위 등급을 받았기 때문에 Accor 브랜드에서는 별로 활동적이지 않았습니다. 하지만 최근 Novotel 여러 곳에서 묵었기 때문에 Novotel에서 더 많은 숙박을 고려하게 되었습니다.

타우포 호수의 풍경은 비교할 수 없을 정도로 아름답습니다. 특히 지열 호수 해변도 흥미롭습니다. 식사 장소와 거리가 멀어 운전해서 가야하지만, 호텔 레스토랑도 퀄리티가 좋습니다. 호텔 앞 호수 산책로는 아침 조깅에 적합합니다.

Wow! We go upgraded to two bedroom apartment which was really handy since it has washer/dryer plus air conditioning in both bedrooms and open plan living area. Very clean and modern apartment with good appliances (Bosch cooktop, oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer). The apartment is sound proofed. They also have 4 varieties of Zealong Tea Estate teas along with the Zealong cups plus coffee pods. The hotel is next to the lake and shops so it’s quite convenient. My only issue is that outside of night time sleeping hours, the air conditioner would turn off by itself after a few minutes. Other than that, I really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would recommend it to others.
