호텔 정말 최고예요!!! 너무 만족스러웠어요! 처음에는 하루만 예약했는데, 하루 더 연장하기로 했어요. 호텔이 편의시설에서 좀 멀리 떨어져 있어서 올인클루시브 패키지를 구매하는 게 좋을 것 같아요. 하지만 단체 여행이나 신혼여행이라면 정말 완벽할 거예요. 직원들은 친절하고 상냥하고, 음식도 맛있고, 편의시설도 훌륭하고, 무엇보다 가격이 정말 마음에 들어요. 딱 하나 아쉬운 점이 있다면 온수예요. 낮에는 따뜻한 물이 나와서 샤워하기 좋았는데, 저녁에는 좀 차가웠어요.

나와 내 약혼자는 6 박 동안 거기에 머물렀고 마법 같았습니다. 훌륭한 분위기 훌륭한 서비스. 장소는 확실히 깨끗합니다. 맛있는 음식 많이 할 활동과 볼 일 중 방갈로에서 도보 거리에 해변이 있습니다. 해변에 가고 싶지 않다면 수영장도 있지만 큰 실수를 저질렀다고 생각합니다. 놀랍습니다. 그 시원한 인도양 물을 느껴보세요. 모든 종류의 새와 동물을 볼 수 있습니다. 절대 천국입니다. 나는이 장소에 10/10을 쉽게주고 누구에게나 추천 할 것입니다.

Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, featuring comfortable bedding and essential amenities. While the design leans more toward classic beach-resort style rather than ultra-modern luxury, everything is kept clean and functional. Rooms closer to the beach or pool area are especially enjoyable due to the views and easy access. The food selection was varied and enjoyable, with a mix of international and local Kenyan cuisine. Dining by the ocean added a nice touch to the overall experience. The pool area and beach setup are well-kept and offer plenty of space to relax. Overall, Diamonds Malindi is a great choice for travelers seeking a calm, scenic, and comfortable beachfront stay with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s less about high-energy activities and more about slowing down and enjoying the coastal beauty of Kenya.

Distant relatives is the perfect place to stay in Kilifi. The whole staff is very friendly and make you feel like family. My wife and I arrived during off season, so when we showed up at 04:30 there was already a room available even though our check in was technically not until 12:00 that day. Mohammed at the bar made sure we were taken care of whenever we wanted something to eat or drink. The food and drink prices were reasonable, after 5 days we only spent around $100 USD. The pool was our favorite spot to sit and relax while reading our books. But reception was also able to help us call a Tuk Tuk into town and to the white sandy beaches and that was about $10 USD round trip. Beware of the Vervet monkeys though, they live in the trees surrounding the property and they will steal your food if you turn your eyes for even just a second! The toilets outside the Bandas are composting toilets, and that isn’t for everyone, but they do have traditional flush toilets as well near the pool area.

Nice location, excellent rooms with great views of the ocean and balcony with bed and chairs that you can sit in and relax while overlooking the ocean. Very clean, not much variety with the food and particularly limited choices if you do not eat seafood or fish. Service was very slow even though the hotel was not busy. Spoke to manager but still found that the service did not improve. WiFi was not working in the rooms and it took most of my holiday before it was resolved. They ran out of chillies most of the time and even though they were aware of my concerns did feel that much effort was put it to resolve them. Would not consider staying there ever again.

Pros: Beautiful hotel built with it's locality at heart. The Swahili architecture in the rooms especially is top notch. Big, clean rooms with views and balcony. Great staff, Amisi at reception and George at the restaurant were exceptional. Kilifi itself is beautiful so would visit again. P/s - if you can, please visit the spa! Cons: Food was average (buffet dinner and breakfast). These have great room for improvement.
