The room appeared a little old, and the bathroom was not the cleanest, but the place itself was nice, with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a lovely garden, a sauna and gym equipments.
The breakfast room had a fantastic view of the sea, and the choice of food was varied and delicious.
Would definitely recommend.

The room we were given was at the bottom of a flight of stairs resulting in a lot of noise disturbance throughout the day and night. The hotel itself feels a little dated and the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The fire alarm at 7am was also an unwelcome wake up call.
The breakfast was good, with a decent selection and the general location is good for accessing local walks and the costal path. Parking is a bit of a nightmare and you can end up with a lengthy walk to the hotel when it is busy.

The hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking.
We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service.
Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing.
The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay.
I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped.
Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet.
However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'.
We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

這是第三次入住了，還記得10年前留學第一次和女朋友來的樣子，站在頂層河景房的陽台上看着英國少有的金色沙灘和河口景色。之後和父母也來了，這是我在英國住過的最有特色的房間，非常推薦頂樓的河景房。絕對物超所值。

리리뷰어The hotel is in a very picturesque location, overlooking a lake. The bedrooms are large, with comfortable beds and prices for a stay are very reasonable. Having said that, the completely uncalled for surly, unfriendly and distinctly unhelpful of one member of staff at reception when we returned to the hotel after going to the Newton Abbot races soured the overnight stay for our group of 7. Firstly, after serving drinks to two members of our group, who arrived at the hotel ahead of the rest of us, he didn't allow them to take the drinks outside to a veranda area so they could have a smoke and could provide no good reason for refusing the polite request. Secondly, when the rest of us arrived at the hotel at around 11.30pm the bar was shut and he refused to serve us any drinks, even though we asked politely, merely wanting one more drink before going to bed. He was also curt, rude and distinctly unhelpful when we asked him to point us in the direction of our rooms, giving one word answers and seeming to regard us all as a hindrance to him. All in all, this experience made us regret our choice of hotel and we are disinclined to return to the hotel in future.
A further gripe was that the breakfast service was poor and slow, with cooked breakfasts taking 25 minutes to arrive and many key items missing and not replenished unless guests specifically asked, including cups, tea bags, sugar and orange juice,

We have been to the cliffden hotel three times and had a club room on the first floor they were nice large rooms but this time we were on the second floor our room was very small and claustrophobic nothing like the photos in the booking . We asked for a different room and the man at reception said see me tomorrow morning and if there's a larger room you can have it. Later on in the day my partner went to reception to book a table for an evening meal for us. While she was booking the table the lady at the reception said there were no other rooms you can have. The barman was very polite nice to chat to. We only had one meal in the evening cod and chips could not find much cod it was all batter. Other meal gammon and chips gammon would be good to repair your soles on your shoes. Go to the local chip shop absolutely beautiful. We used the indoor swimming pool which was nice and clean. The gardens are lovely, and the beer is very expensive. Go to the jolly sailor pub with drinks at good prices. Reception is not very helpful. I can't understand why the hotel puts people with dogs on the second floor because when the dog wants to go to the toilet by the time you get down to the entrance the dog has already peed on the carpets. Luckily our dog can hold her pee and she is small enough to carry.I have followed other people with their dogs and seen it. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay this time.

MMiss Winter사랑스러운 환영과 리셉션에서 체크인하세요. 아침 식사 체크인은 별로 좋지 않았고, 그녀는 우리가 앉고 싶은 자리를 고르는 것에 대해 진지한 태도를 보였습니다. 정말 이른 시간이었고 우리는 방금 일어났습니다. 그 여성은 우리와 함께 너무 단호하고 강압적으로 아침 식사를 망쳤습니다. 그녀는 우리가 학교 식당에 앉아 있는 아이들이 아니라 주말 휴식 시간이라는 것을 인식해야 했습니다. 우리는 그녀가 너무 일찍 너무 큰 소리로 말하고 우리에게 명령을 내리기 때문에 우리에게서 물러나라고 요청해야 했습니다. 그런 다음 그녀는 실제로 상황을 끔찍하게 만드는 사람이었을 때 다른 직원들에게 우리를 나쁘게 말하면서 걸어갔습니다. 그 외에도 우리는 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 멋진 구식 스타일의 객실. 넓은 침대와 대형 TV를 갖춘 공간이 많아서 방이 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 예쁜 꽃 벽지와 장식에 대한 전통적인 느낌이 좋습니다. 우리가 지불한 가격에 비해 매우 좋은 가치. 감사합니다

리리뷰어I found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly, especially the bar and restaurant staff. In particular Cloe was very efficient and helpful behind the bar. She explained really well how to find the various attractions that we wanted to see. Nothing was too much trouble.
The staff in the restaurant were also extremely efficient and friendly both at breakfast and especially during the evening meal. Unfortunately I did not think to take their names at the time.
The only negative was the meal itself. Everything was good except for my steak. It was cooked just as I liked it, however it was tough and gristly. I did not complain at the time because as I said, everything else was really good, and I was not going to put a damper on the evening.

리리뷰어This was truly one of the most unforgettable birthday experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was beyond anything I expected. The staff went out of their way to make the day feel extra special, and I was genuinely moved by their kindness. The room was stunning, the vibe was just right, and every facility added to the comfort of our stay. A big thank you to the lovely lady at reception, her warm welcome and constant support throughout made all the difference. It was a birthday I’ll always remember!

리리뷰어The spa is incredible, so relaxing. Ideal location with about 10 mins walk to Harbour and to Meadfoot beach. Breakfast was on the small side but tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are okay, clean, but for 4* I’d expect a bit more like an iron in the room, toiletries, wash cloths etc. Didn’t sleep that well unfortunately as was woken up by people coming back to room as doors are loud and corridor floors are creaky. This let it down, but I’d return for the spa experience!

LLaura June Robina훌륭한 호텔, 방은 사랑스럽고 수영장 지역도 마찬가지였습니다! 우리는 반기 초에 주말에 갔기 때문에 가족과 아이들이 많았습니다. 주변에 많은 아이들이 싫다면 일주일이 더 좋다고 들었지만 우리에게는 문제가 되지 않았습니다. 호텔은 매우 크고 주변에 많은 것이 있습니다. 또한 해변, 공원 및 마을에서 도보 거리에 가까운 훌륭한 위치에 있습니다. 우리는 여기에 머무는 것을 정말로 즐겼습니다 :)
