A great hotel in a good location for visitors to Sheffield. The advantage of staying slightly out of the city centre for free parking and a peaceful location. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet in lovely grounds. We had 4 rooms with our party which were booked at a reasonable price and 2 were upgraded on arrival which was a bonus. The staff were friendly and welcoming especially the lady on reception. Would happily stay here again

Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend.

We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. We stayed at this and the hotel is convient for driving but not so much for walking but I didn’t mind that. The worst was when someone used our bathroom and wrote on the mirror, that was a little odd but considering it’s Barsley I was not so surprised

깨끗하고 좋은 호텔이었고, 주변에 바와 레스토랑이 많아 걸어서 금방 갈 수 있는 거리에 위치해 있었습니다. 객실은 넓고 깨끗했지만, 도착했을 때 세면대에서 긴 검은 머리카락을 발견했습니다! 커튼을 쳐도 바깥이 밝을 때만 약간의 빛이 들어와 방이 매우 조용했습니다. 조식은 다양한 메뉴가 제공되어 좋았지만, 커피는 좀 더 개선될 수 있을 것 같습니다. 바도 괜찮았고, 다양한 맥주를 즐길 수 있었습니다. 호텔 주차장은 너무 작고 회전하기에도 불편해서 이용하지 않았습니다. 대신 솔리 스트리트에 있는 NCP 칼 파크에 주차했는데, 주말에 1박에 2.50파운드였고 주차 공간도 넉넉했습니다. 평일에는 24시간에 11파운드였는데, 햄튼 바이 힐튼은 15파운드였습니다. 전반적으로 친절한 직원들 덕분에 좋은 숙박이었습니다. 이 지역에 다시 오게 된다면 꼭 다시 묵을 것입니다.

이 호텔 정말 최악이에요… 한마디로, 시설은 새것 같지만 서비스는 완전히 엉망입니다. 1. 바지 세탁을 부탁했는데, 프런트 데스크에 두 번이나 6시 전에 방으로 가져다주겠다고 확인까지 받았어요. 그런데 6시 30분에 방으로 돌아왔을 때 바지는 없었고, 7시 30분에 다시 내려가 보니 프런트 데스크에 그대로 있었어요. 아무도 가져다주지 않았던 거죠. 2. 6시 30분에 방으로 돌아왔을 때, 청소는 되어 있었지만 화장지는 채워져 있지 않았어요. 다른 비품도 필요한가 싶어서 휴대폰으로 QR 코드를 스캔해서 추가 요청을 했어요. 오늘 QR 코드는 8시 이전에 사용 가능했는데, 한 시간이 지나도 오지 않았어요. 어제 전화했을 때 겪었던 어이없는 일이 생각나서 직접 프런트 데스크에 가서 요청했어요. 그러자 거의 15분이나 지나서야 비품이 도착했어요. 3. 아침 식사로 나온 삶은 달걀흰자는 제대로 익지도 않았어요… 서비스가 전혀 없는 호텔이네요… 그나마 장점이라면 위치가 좋고 새로 리모델링했다는 점뿐이에요.
