Baolian Temple is located in the foothill of Pantao Mountain in the east of Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in the early years of Liu Song Yongxing in the Northern and Southern Dynasties (Yongxing in the Northern Wei Dynasty). It is the first temple with Indian style in China. Over the past thousand years, it has gone through vicissitudes of life and several times prospered or abandoned. Baolian Temple has "Eight Halls, Two Pavilions and One Courtyard" and the Seven Buddhist Halls are the largest halls of the Great Majesty in China. The monastery has been playing Buddhist songs with only six Buddha symbols. It feels very good. It is fortunate to help the monastery do a little bit of work to prepare for the Great Law Society of the God of Wealth tomorrow. However, it is a little regrettable that it can not attend because of the journey. Six lotus lanterns are lit to pray for the family. Namo Amitabha.
Very grand and magnificent. The whole building is built according to the mountain situation. It covers a very large area. The parking lot at the entrance is not very large. The charge is calculated on a time-by-time basis at 5 yuan each time. Tickets 40, the first and fifteenth days of junior high school are not accepted, which is very humanistic. As soon as we enter the mountain gate, there are eight gods and four large statues of Dharma guardians in the square. They are exquisite in craftsmanship and lifelike in appearance. There are 13,000 Buddha statues in the middle of the water, and the whole Nanmu carving wheel is in the middle. They are very beautiful. Behind it is the Baolian Temple. After entering, there are also large bell and drum towers, Daxiong Hall, Guanyin Hall, Manjushu Hall and so on. All kinds of palaces are very complete, and incense is also very strong. The final Tongtian Pavilion is particularly spectacular, which is dedicated to the future Buddha as high as 40 meters, Maitreya Buddha. There is also a smiling Maitreya Buddha in the doorway. The smiling mouth is always open. The golden treasure in hand has made people feel the light of the Guanyin Hall. There are many people queuing for lunch at noon, similar to the dining hall, with a stainless steel plate containing food. See a monk eating here too. All in all, believers are worth visiting.

The main body of the temple is Baolian Temple, which was built in the early years of Liu Song Yongxing in the Northern and Southern Dynasties. It was also the first temple with Indian style in China during the Yongxing period of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Its ancestor, Master Faxian, was also the first eminent monk who returned from his journey westward in history. Over the past thousand years, it has experienced vicissitudes and flourished several times. First it was called Longhua Temple, then Hongfeng Temple and Honglian Temple. During the reign of Qianlong in Qing Dynasty, it was named Baolian Temple, which was abandoned on the eve of liberation. The rebuilt Pauline Temple "Eight Palaces, Two Pavilions, One Courtyard" shows the grand atmosphere of the flourishing Tang style, during which the palace pagodas are handed over and elegant classics are presented. Tianwang Dian, Jialan Dian, Zushi Dian, Guanyin Dian, Dizang Dian, Seven Buddhist Dian, Wenshu Dian, Puxian Dian Dian, Tongtian Pavilion, Tibetan Sutra Pavilion, Abbot's House, Upper Living Hall, Zhaifang, Sanghao and so on are arranged one by one. All the buildings are spread north and South with Tongtian Pavilion as the central axis, corridor circle, honor and humility orderly, and each of them is in its position.
The scenic spot is located in the middle of Xuzhou urban area and Xuzhou East Railway Station. Xuzhou itself is not big. No matter where you live, it is not too far. Bus or taxi are available. The previous day in Ctrip booking tickets, price concessions, cost-effective. The area of the scenic spot is not large, similar to the general layout of Buddhist temples, but the Buddha statues and buildings are magnificent and exquisite, especially the last big Buddha, which is very spectacular.
It is a really impressive peaceful and quiet place! The ticket is only 10 Yuan. They close at 5 p. m.
