Lanzhou's sign, the 100-year-old railway bridge, is still allowed for vehicles to pass on the bridge deck before 2015. Now, in order to better protect and prolong the life of the bridge, no vehicles have been allowed to pass (except manpower vehicles). The willow trees on the Bank of the Yellow River are shady. If you have leisure, you can ask for pot tea or beer at the tea stand on the bank, drink tea, eat snacks, and enjoy the scenery of the Yellow River railway bridge in a comfortable and quiet way. After tea and leisure, you can also go for a walk along the Yellow River, where pebbles are piled up waiting for you to discover that there are different shapes and sizes. Picking up a piece of Yellow River stone as a tourist souvenir, I am lucky to pick up a favorite stone (see figure below), which is also a great harvest of this trip. Another landmark "Mother of the Yellow River" city sculpture in Lanzhou City is about 20 minutes to the east. This sculpture was erected in 84 years and produced by Beijing Sculpture Factory. This sculpture perfectly illustrates the Yellow River as the spiritual birthplace of the descendants of the Yellow River. Like a mother, it nourishes Chinese children with its sweet milk and achieves a splendid Chinese civilization of five thousand years. It deserves to be the mother river of the Chinese nation.
