When you go to Hawaii, you must visit Pearl Harbor, where there are indelible memories for people all over the world. After viewing the documentary of the Pearl Harbor incident at the Visitors'Center, I took a boat trip to the Memorial Hall of the US warship Arizona, which is located above the Aquatic Arizona (the translated name of the Chinese material provided by the Visitors' Center). Some of the damaged Arizona is still exposed to the water. There are floating oil marks on the water. The tour guide told us that this is a slow seepage from the tank of the warship, called Arizona's tears. Decades have passed and it is said that it can seep to 100 years. Feeling like this is the best metaphor, let Arizona's 100-year tears help us remember that period of history and those lost lives.
