Daegu, located in the southeastern part of Korea, is the fourth largest city in the Republic of Korea. It is the capital of the wide-area municipality directly under the jurisdiction of Korea and the Hokkaido. Due to its superior geographical position, Daegu was once the southern commercial center of the Korean Peninsula in history. Daegu has a subtropical climate and is the warmest area in Korea. This climate created high-quality apples and melons in Daqiu. Daqiu has the laudatory names of "Apple City", "Textile City", "Fashion City". The oldest Park in Daqiu is "Dacheng Park" and "Touliu Park" which includes theme parks, outdoor performance venues, art galleries, walking paths and other facilities. The traditional Korean medicine market and the permanent traditional market "Siemens market" handed down from the Korean era, as well as the Bagongshan and Tonghua Temple in the suburbs, are the representative tourist sites of Daqiu.
