Excellent services although felt that some mosquitoes were there. Otherwise it was a good stay. Breakfast was awesome and staff is super friendly and helpful. All together highly recommended to stay.

One feature I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s gym facility. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent range of equipment for a quick workout. For a short stay, it was more than sufficient and a welcome amenity for anyone looking to stay active while traveling. However, one significant downside was the dining experience. The biggest letdown was the limited food choices, especially in the set dinner menu. While the staff were polite and the service was timely, the menu lacked variety and felt quite restrictive. This was one of our best stays in Kolkata. Hyatt Regency Kolkata is an excellent all purpose hotel with high end restaurants and five start guest services, fast Internet, clean rooms and bathrooms, fresh towels, clean water supply always and more. I highly recommend this five start hotel which has kept up to it's reputation for decades. It has a wide variety of food choices and sumptuous breakfast.

Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

So the location is on the main road which I really loved unlike other properties which are inside deep alley. Food is good I ordered biryani although it doesn't tastes like famous Kolkata biryani but it was not bad. The room is small and cozy. The staff behavior is polite. There can be some issue related woth parking as the hotel doesn't have its own parking. I was on my scooter which I parked some other location.

hotel cleanliness and location is ok. only 30 to 40 mins from airport and maybe 50 to 60mins during peak hours. The room is comfortable and clean. The food (in room dining) is big portion and solo traveller cannnot order too many dishes. The reception counter is slow in serving the guests. Always seems to be multi-tasking. I.e. cannot concentrate and handle one guest at a time, while other guests just cut in and then he/she will have attention diverted. Coffeshop (place where we have breakfast) service is ok in the morning. Mainly because it is buffet. However, if lunch time 3 to 4pm, their staff is slow in responding and waiting for food and bill is very long. Their chinese resturant always seems to be closed. So within my days of stay, i visited twice and i was told it is closed. I dont use their facilities.
