스파 시설을 갖춘 영국 컴브리아 호텔

£200 for a basic room for one night was a bit on the pricey side for me, however it was nice all the same. A few of the photos of the basic room are misleading. The photos show a four post double bed which is not the case. We found out later this is actually an executive room despite it being labeled basic. We found out that the hotel location is accessible by bus from Oxenholme train station (despite being told the opposite) and has a great view of beautiful fields. Food in the hotel is good but expensive... My eyes nearly popped out their sockets when I saw the £8.00 charge just for the tiniest amount of table bread. I'd say this was probably the reason the restaurant was empty despite being told we need to book a table due to its popularity. Swimming pool and steam room are average for the price. Staff are friendly and changed our room to a double bed room free of charge after mistakenly putting us in a twin bedroom.

Upon arrival there was nobody at the front desk so I waited. The woman I was somewhat greated by was far from pleasant and didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all. Nothing was explained and no information leaflet for me to read through in my own time. When given my room key I started walking through the lobby but couldn’t see any signs for my room number. Went back to the desk to ask where to go for my room and was told ‘just follow it round’. Very unhelpful and unwelcoming, not sure this lady should be at the face of the hotel. Plus side, room was beautiful and well kept/clean. I was also lake side so got to watch the sunrise with my morning cuppa. Very refreshing views.

Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

Macdonald Old England Hotel은 호숫가와 Bowness의 상점에서 멀지 않은 곳에 있어 좋은 위치에 있습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 의무적이며 서비스는 그들의 태도와 일치합니다. 조식은 괜찮지만 직원들이 그릇을 채우는 데 때때로 약간 느릴 수 있습니다. 스파는 이용하지 않았으므로 이에 대해서는 언급할 수 없습니다. 전반적으로 호텔에는 우리가 찾던 모든 시설이 갖춰져 있었고 다시 머물고 싶습니다.

去的時候剛好趕上婚禮，大堂裡外都是熱情洋溢喜氣洋洋的老外。前台有衹值班的狗，乖極了。如果帶着孩子，需要額外每衹30胖子的付費，這個，呃……如果沒有這筆費用還是不錯的。第二天的免費自助早餐不錯，咖啡點了以後，服務員送。走廊裏有自助牛奶和自助飲用水。停車免費呦，停車場挺大，基本不用擔心沒地方，因為即使頭一天婚禮來滿了人，也依舊有少許停車位。 雖然英國每天都陰沉下雨或者颳風下雪，但是我們卻在這裏看到了久違的漫天繁星。

호텔 경험은 상당히 열악합니다. 같은 날 4시에 체크인하고 방을 주었고 리셉션 데스크조차 찾을 수 없었습니다. 체크인 후 더블 침대 2 개가 예약 된 것을 발견했지만 더블 침대 1 개와 간단한 싱글 침대 2 개가있었습니다. 프론트 데스크로 가서 협상을했는데 방이 가득 찼고 두 번째 패스에 해결책이 있다고 들었습니다. 저녁 10시에 잠자리에 들 준비를했는데 간단한 침대 중 하나가 무너져있는 것을 발견했습니다. 시트를 열었을 때 나무 난간이 3 개 없다는 것을 알았습니다. 나는 다시 협상하기 위해 프론트 데스크에 갔다. 저녁 근무 관리자는 자신이 식당 관리자라고 말했습니다. 매트리스, 다음날 해결, 그 결과 다음날은 전날 밤 매트리스만큼 좋지 않은 간단한 침대를 철사 침대로 교체했습니다. 다음날 밤, 나는 방을 청소하지 않고 1 층 바에 5 파운드 바우처를 가져갔습니다. 주문 후 지불 가격이 동일하지 않다는 것을 알았습니다. 실제로 바 가격 시스템에 문제가 있었지만 바 웨이터가 메뉴를 가지고 돌아 왔을 때 메뉴를 우리 옆에 던졌습니다. 식사를 건네는 표정도 상당히 불편합니다. 위선적인 영국식 죄송합니다. 이 호텔은 가격 가치가 없습니다.

整體不錯，裝修有點美式風格，感受比較温馨，窗外景色不錯可以直接看湖，酒店餐廳就在樓下，好多老外坐那兒喝酒🍺。小鎮不大，步行15分鐘內基本就逛到，很方便。房間沒有冰箱，可以問酒店前台拿，直接給你一大桶。

The spa does not have hot water (35 degrees). It is quite small. The room was nice.
