The theatre can accommodate 7,000 seats, and there are even VIP seats in the front row, which is quite elegant. It is also the most complete ancient Roman theatre that has been preserved so far. The Grand Theatre naturally retains a very good musical effect, and it is surprising that this ancient theatre is still in use every summer. Climbing to the top of the theatre, there is a feeling of being overwhelmed.

Aspandos is located in the eastern part of Antalya city more than 40 kilometers. Visitors there have only one goal: to see the theatre built in the ancient city more than 2000 years ago. It is the best-structured building in the same building in Antalya and the most well-preserved ancient Roman theatre in ancient times. Ataturk traveled here in the 1930s and found it too regrettable that the theatre was not used. After renovation, the theatre began to hold operas, concerts, performances and folk art circles. It has continued to this day. At the entrance of the theatre, you will see large posters with performance schedules. The unique acoustic design of the ancient theatre is said to have been heard in the audience when a silver coin landed. Because of this unusual sound design, the Aspandos Theatre is still in use. The Antalyan Opera Festival and the Art Festival are held here every summer without any amplification equipment. The audience sat on the stone steps two thousand years ago and enjoyed the perfect sound effect. In the 13th century, the Seljuks converted the theatre into a place of residence, but after the founding of the Republic, the patriarch ordered that it be renovated and opened to visitors.
