일본 홋카이도 아바시리시 외곽의 텐두산 기에 위치한 아바시리 교도소 박물관은 100년 이상의 역사를 지닌 실제 교도소를 개조한 개방형 박물관입니다. 아바시리 관광 버스 노선의 첫 번째 명소입니다. 예전에는 아바시리 교도소의 노동 및 생활시설과 같은 건물들이 산비탈 곳곳에 어져 있었는데 대부분이 손상되어 현재 그대로 재건되어 있습니다. 박물관에는 아바시리 교도소의 역사와 감독 시설을 체계적으로 소개하는 현대적인 교도소 역사 박물관이 있습니다. 아바시리 교도소 박물관에서 가장 중요한 문화 유물은 잘 보존된 감옥입니다. 다른 깔끔하게 배치된 감옥과 달리 이 감옥은 스포크 모양의 구조를 가지고 있습니다.
