立地とホスピタリティが最高です！
シャワーも50℃位までお湯出ると思います。
コンセントも全世界対応でベッドの両端に一つづつ用意されてました。
歯ブラシはないですが、冷蔵庫、ドライヤーはあるので申し分ないです。
少し窓が汚れて白っぽかったのと独特な匂いがありますが、両方すぐ慣れます。
ただ、入口が22:00で施錠されるので気をつけてください。横に呼鈴があるので押せば開けてもらえますが、時間にもよると思います。夜遅くまでの外出には注意です。

We loved this hotel to the point we would return to Kandy to stay here again! The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional, the hotel and rooms were all clean and well maintained and the food at both dinner and breakfast was delicous. Overall we loved out stay here and wish we could have stayed longer.
*we also bought some jewelry from the shop in the hotel which was good too.

It was a wonderful two nights to stay here because of atmosphere and stuffs. Stuffs were helpful and amazing. The room was perfect and clean. Also the rooftop was a lovely and beautiful view. I highly recommend it to stay here.

씨트립에 따르면 이 호텔은 최근에 리모델링을 했고(벽이 새로 칠해졌을 수도 있고, 다른 시설이 낡았을 수도 있음), 풍경도 좋고(사진에서 보듯이), 사자바위와도 매우 가까워서 꼭 가고 싶었어요. 사자바위 등반 후 푹 쉬다 가셔서 선택했어요. 방 2개를 예약했는데 체크인할 때 그 중 한 개는 예약이 없다고 하더군요. 결국 해결되었지만 경험은 정말 좋지 않았습니다. 호텔의 청결도와 케이터링이 상당히 실망스러워서 추천하고 싶지 않습니다.

프런트 직원이 너무 말이 많아요!! 특히 긴 여행 끝에 체크인하고 잠시 조용히 있고 싶거나 화장실에서 볼일을 보고 싶을 때 말이죠. 이 점을 꼭 고려하세요. 복도와 계단은 마지막 날까지 청소되어 있지 않았어요. 수건, 침대 시트, 그리고 방까지 가는 길이 지저분하게 널려 있었죠. 제 방 샤워기도 고장 나서 복도 건너편 다른 방에서 샤워해야 했어요. 프런트 직원 화장실은 항상 문제가 있는 것 같아요. 음식은 맛있어요!! 직원들이 열심히 노력하는 모습도 보기 좋고요!! 언덕 위에 있어서 전망이 최고예요!! 캔디 전망보다 훨씬 좋아요… 사원도 가까워요!!

호텔 시설은 매우 새롭고 호텔 환경도 매우 좋지만 온수의 느낌이 너무 나쁩니다. 몇 분 동안 씻은 후 뜨거운 물이 사라졌습니다. 5 ~ 6 분을 기다렸다가 뜨거운 물을 씻는 데 1 ~ 2 분이 걸렸습니다. 온수 공급 시스템과 관련이 있다고 생각합니다.이 경험은 정말 나쁩니다.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It is directly across the street from the Sacred Tooth Temple. In front of it is a beautiful lake. It's great for a walk. The hotel itself is very cool because of the antique charm. I have never seen anything like it. It is a unique experience if you're looking for obe.

스리랑카에서 만난 인생 호텔
스리랑카에 가서 단 한 곳의 호텔에만 묵을 수 있다면, 그곳은 단연 헤리턴스 칸달라마일 거예요.
호텔 곳곳에서 온순하고 귀여운 원숭이들을 볼 수 있었고, 심지어 야생 코끼리들이 아래층 호숫가에서 물을 마시는 모습도 볼 수 있었어요. 저는 놀랍게도 이곳에서 야생 코뿔새를 보았습니다. 그 두 마리의 코뿔새가 제 눈앞에 있었고, 커다란 부리를 가지고 자유롭게 날아다녔죠. 그 순간 소름이 돋았어요. 야생 환경에서 코뿔새를 실제로 본 것은 처음이었거든요. 이 모든 것이 호텔이 자연과 얼마나 잘 어우러져 있는지를 잘 보여줍니다.
제가 생각하는 호텔의 가장 감동적인 두 순간이 있습니다. 하나는 밤이 찾아왔을 때, 한 현지 노 음악가가 호텔 모닥불 옆에서 피리를 연주하던 순간입니다. 그 연주자가 음악을 연주하기 시작했을 때, 달빛은 이미 칸달라마 호수 위에 머물러 있었고, 코뿔새들도 막 잠이 들었죠. 그 순간 저는 제가 휴가 중이라는 사실조차 잊은 듯했습니다.
또 다른 순간은 아침에 제가 일어나 커튼을 걷었을 때였습니다. 갑자기 두 마리의 원숭이가 제 발코니로 뛰어들어왔어요. 스리랑카 원숭이들은 매우 온순하고 심지어 수줍음이 많습니다. 발코니에서 이리저리 뛰어다니는 그들을 보면서, 그 순간이 정말 특별하고 아름답다고 느꼈습니다.

CcnphoebeAn exceptional stay at a lovely hotel. Great pool, fantastic views and really good dinner buffet which was fairly priced! It is quite out of the way - 20 minutes out of town and not walkable - but this is necessary for some unrivalled views, the best in Kandy!

리리뷰어The Good
The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture.
The Bad
The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
The Ugly
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort.
Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

MMtngSeerock The King’s Domain offers an impressive stay with super spacious rooms, a beautiful outdoor environment, and excellent service. The only downside—though not the hotel’s fault—is the occasional wild peacock screaming at night, which might disrupt light sleepers. Otherwise, a fantastic getaway for nature lovers.

리리뷰어The owners and employees at this hotel are so, so lovely.
Unfortunately their hotel is not. I almost feel catfished as many of the photos highlighted the bar and pool party atmosphere. This was not the case - the pool was a decent size but in the shade and I actually didn’t see anyone in it. The pool party drinking shots I highly suspect were perhaps not a genuine source.
The same goes for the bar which is massive and attended to by several lovely young, bored gentlemen as both times I popped up (once for dinner) I was the only patron. Again no party atmosphere or even people - which is a shame as it is a big venue.
Fortunately next door was another venue for some decent cocktails and music which saved the boredom somewhat.
The bedroom was a decent size with a small fridge (but didn’t work), the bathroom was small, felt dirty, no hand soap or soap for the shower (apart from leftover previous occupants - and that was gross).
The pressure was poor making showering difficult and there was plaster on the floor from some damage - not cleaned up.
The bed was massive and comfortable with air conditioning and a fan so sleep was good.
Finally, and to repeat, the staff were lovely. Very hospitable and the location is about a ten minute walk to the Sacred Tooth Temple and Kandy Lake. So great location.
Would I stay there again - no. Would I pop in to say hello to the owners and next door for a cocktails - possibly!

리리뷰어Room is spacious, have all amenities and toiletries (just missing the slippers). It have heater instead of air conditioner as there is mostly cold here. Centralized control system is a plus. Washroom is comparatively much smaller and just the basic size.
Cons: The main thing was the management which was poor and mostly looked after only locals as we came to know by our driver. At check in the room key didn't worked 3 time and they have to call some technical guy to resolve the issue which was actually the issue in room door, still they gave us the same room. When we go to food court for breakfast in morning, it was only 4 set items only which also they decide they want to give or not. For every request it was a no even when we are willing to pay extra for the same. For the meal we had we asked extra sambhar they deny they can't give. We asked for sandwich or any breads which was also unavailable. But after sometime, they give sandwich to some other persons. When we confronted them, they told it is in different meal, we asked to give only sandwich they outright denied, when we said give meal they say come after 11. After complaining and telling at the reception his response was mostly defending and at last only told you can discuss with senior manager. It was our time to leave the city as per our itinerary so we left the place as it is.

리리뷰어Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.
