My second stay at Swissotel Makkah, and once again, it was absolutely perfect.
From the moment I checked in until the time I checked out, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were professional, warm, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The service was seamless, the room was immaculate, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming.
I truly felt cared for throughout my entire stay. This hotel consistently delivers outstanding service and comfort. I am always impressed and will definitely be coming back again.

I stayed there in the same year it opened, 2023, and honestly, I was blown away by the hotel's luxury, location, the service of the staff, the overall tranquility, and the wonderful rooms. Even the food was excellent; I consider it the best I've had so far. Even if you don't stay there, I highly recommend trying Patras Restaurant. Since it was my first stay in the hotel in 2023 and I was so impressed, I went back and booked a room for my friend to try it, and I will definitely visit and stay there

객실은 깨끗하고 필요한 편의 시설을 잘 갖추고 있습니다. 호텔은 하람까지 도보로 약 5-minute이지만 도보로 약간 오르막입니다.
첫날 밤에는 우리가 요청한 엑스트라 베드가 도착하지 않았으며 다음날 제공되기 전에 다시 후속 조치를 취해야했습니다. 조금 불편했지만 전반적으로 우리의 체류는 여전히 편안했습니다.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would happily return. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, well-designed, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay.
The location was excellent—convenient and easy to get around—while still being quiet and peaceful at night. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the quality of the bedding to the cleanliness of the common areas.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and offered great value for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a pleasant experience.
도착했을 때 열쇠를 받는 것은 빠르고 쉬웠습니다.
체크인 후 객실은 넓고 깨끗하며 아름다웠습니다. 다만, 발 매트가 없어서 요청했는데, 하우스키핑 직원에게 문의하니 없다고 했습니다.
발 매트가 없어 화장실을 사용하고 나올 때마다 바닥이 미끄러웠습니다.
하루가 지난 후에야 하우스키핑 직원이 발 매트를 가져다주었습니다.
쇼핑과 아랍/서양/방글라데시 음식을 즐길 수 있는 곳은 도보로 1분 이내 거리에 있습니다.
하람까지는 도보로 10~15분 정도 걸립니다.
매번 기도 시간에는 도로가 폐쇄되어 호텔에서 약 500미터 떨어진 곳에 경찰 통제 구역이 설치되어 개인 차량 진입이 제한됩니다. 기도 시간 전후에는 도로가 개방되지만, 500미터 떨어진 경찰서까지 걸어가서 차량 통제를 받고 본인 차량임을 알려야만 진입할 수 있습니다. 결국 현지 교통 경찰의 차량 진입 제한 때문에 비행기를 놓쳤습니다. 경찰이 저희 차량을 진입시키지 않아 500미터를 걸어가서 어떤 차량인지 경찰에 알려야 했기 때문입니다. 이것이 유일한 불편함이었고, 호텔 측에서는 이에 대해 아무런 조치를 취할 수 없었으며, 짐을 500미터 떨어진 주차장까지 옮겨주는 서비스도 제공하지 않았습니다.
나는 Pullman ZamZam Makkah에서 멋진 숙박을했습니다. 위치는 무적의 Masjid Al Haram 문 바로 앞에 위치하여 Umrah 공연과 매일의 기도에 참석하는 것을 믿을 수 없을 정도로 쉽고 편리하게 만들었습니다. 나는 운 좋게도 아름다운 부분 하람 전망이 있는 방을 얻었고, 이는 나의 체류에 특별한 영적 감동을 더했습니다. 또 다른 하이라이트는 sahur 뷔페였습니다. 맛있는 메인 코스와 전채에서 다양한 디저트에 이르기까지 선택은 방대하고 고품질이었습니다.

It was a pleasant stay here, with easy access to haram. I booked a room with a kitchen. Thankfully, I got a spacious kitchen, a large refrigerator, a living room, a bedroom, and a fully equipped bathroom. The location is also very strategic, connected to a mall, making it easy for us to shop. The view is beautiful. I hope we can stay here again.

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Residence Hajar Tower Makkah, which was booked through your platform. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards expected from a hotel of this category, nor the information confirmed prior to arrival.
1. Early Check-in Confirmation Not Honored
Before my arrival, I received a message from the hotel requesting confirmation of my check-in time if it was before 12:00 PM. I confirmed this accordingly. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no room was available and was asked to wait until around 4:00 PM, under the pretext that this is the standard check-in time. This was both disappointing and exhausting, especially after travel, and contradicted the prior communication from the hotel.
2. Bathroom Plumbing Issue
On the first day, I encountered a serious issue in the bathroom where water overflowed and accumulated, making it impossible to shower or even use the sink properly. Although the issue was eventually repaired, it significantly affected my comfort during the first day of my stay.
3. Repeated Unfulfilled Requests (Pillow and Blanket)
I requested an extra pillow and blanket multiple times (at least four separate requests). Each time, I was assured that they would be delivered shortly, yet they never arrived. This reflects poor service follow-up and lack of coordination.
4. Incorrect Breakfast Restaurant Assignment
At check-in, the reception staff encoded my room key with access to a breakfast restaurant that was extremely limited in size, overcrowded, and of noticeably low quality. Often, there were no available tables, forcing guests to wait.
Every morning, hotel staff verified my eligibility to enter this restaurant. However, on the last day, a different employee informed me—unexpectedly—that my booking actually entitled me to access a higher-quality, more premium breakfast restaurant, which I immediately visited. This means I was wrongly deprived of the service level included in my booking for the majority of my stay.

Considering all the above issues—miscommunication, delayed room availability, maintenance problems, poor service responsiveness, and incorrect service allocation—I believe this stay fell far below reasonable expectations.
I kindly request that Trip.com review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and service failures I experienced, whether in the form of a partial refund, Trip.com credit, or another suitable resolution.

What I really appreciate about this is The receptionist ( a lady which her name began with M - i think she’s Indonesian originally , I forgot her full name - sorry)
She was very helpful and kind. The service guys are always nice. The staff at the entrance of the dinning were very friendly. The buffe was delicious and had variety.
The only not very pleasant experience I had was with this 2 specific security guards at the front entrance on the 25th Feb around 8:00pm. They acted very rude and unhelpful ( I don’t know their names but they need to improve in their humanity and manners.
Other than this, I has a very pleasant experience here mostly.

Staff are great and hotel was really nice.
Additionally the lounge acess timing need to be more flexible specially as we want to pray in Masjid Al Haram its very tight for example snack time that is between 7 PM to 9 PM, also I dont know why they call it snack time that I discovered its dinner.
