Our family room window is much higher than normal level, we can’t see the outside view , when we open the shade, there is a staff walkway just a floor above ours. So we even can’t open the shade to enjoy daylight due to privacy. I believe other rooms won’t have this issue, but still not good for us. ❌ Everyday have different iced welcome drink in reception. ✅ Small pool but not busy, free without booking from 8am-8pm ✅ Our room has mini-kitchen, electronic cooker and hood ✅ Refrigerator is cold enough for really cold drinks.✅ No refill of bottle water and no mini- bar❌ No clean up of cutlery❌ Shower with good temperature range and enough pressure.✅ Just 2 pin sockets, no USB. ❌ Hotel location is PERFECT👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.Plenty of restaurants around. At the middle of famous attractions. 2 Supermarkets and self laundry around. ✅✅✅ Plenty of nice Algarve wall artwork.✅ Nice breakfast buffet ✅

Comfortable room, nice staff, river views of Spain's Sanlucar de Guadiana makes this hotel thoroughly worthwhile, even if it is located a bit out of the old town of Alcoutim (10-15 minutes walk).

Amabilidad del personal. Hotel con buen precio y que cuenta con las cosas que uno espera. Destaco además que el parking es gratuito. El desayuno es estupendo. Si he de poner una pega es el del ascensor, que era pequeño. Tampoco sé si había más de uno. Realmente no me hizo falta porque nos alojamos en la primera planta. En definitiva, es un hotel funcional, bien situado y con una relación calidad/precio muy competitiva.

不算很新，但位置絕美。開車要開比較久時間，值得特地跑一趟，離歐洲大陸最西南角衞城很近，還有沖浪地區，令人印象深刻

Just managed to book this for 1 day for my birthday weekendfor myself and my daughter and wished I had booked it for the entire duration of my 6 day stay in Portugal. Clean, peaceful, pool was crystal clear, staff were friendly. d I somehow managed to get it for a very competitive price, not the usual rate. I had an amazing stay at Vale d’El Rei Hotel & Villas. The property is absolutely beautiful—nestled in a peaceful and scenic location that feels like a true escape. The gardens are lush and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere is tranquil and inviting. My room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a lovely view and all the amenities I needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. I also really enjoyed the breakfast—great variety and fresh options each morning. The pool area was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the Algarve. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a relaxing break, Vale d’El Rei is a fantastic choice.

Très bel hôtel dans un cadre très agréable, hôtel en rénovation. Petit havre de paix en retrait de la ville (le centre ville de portimao se trouve à environ 15min en voiture). Il vaut mieux être véhiculé pour y séjourner. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, propres, modernes et la literie est confortable. Le petit déjeuner est varié et bon. Le personnel est agréable. J’y retournerais avec plaisir!
