Strandtorget is a shopping mall and is located ten minutes away.The top of Lillyhammer offers accommodation with mountain views, free wifi and free private parking. Maihaugen which is Norways biggest outdoor museum is only 7,6km away! Hunderfossen family park is 18 km away.The Nobel Prize winner Sigrid Undset's house has turned to a museum and is 7.9 km from the property. Norwegian Post Museum is a distance of 7.6 km. The nearest airport is Oslo airport and is one hour and fourty minutes from the property and we offer a paid airport shuttle service.We recently got a cat. The staff was very friendly and the food very good! At first, I was surprised they also offered Hostel rooms, and then I couldn't have been more impressed. The owner of the hotel was so devoted to his business and guests. You won't find this hospitality anywhere else. And talk about convenient. Trains and buses right out the front door. WE LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is 2 min walk to the local train/bus station and 3 min walk to the outdoor shopping area. Good parking. The front staff was welcoming and offered help to any questions I had. The room was great, I slept very well in the bed. The breakfast buffet 😋 excellent. Multiple options for hot and cold meals. All in all, a great stay, will surely come again.
