Great location for tourist attractions and transport. We used trams and the Underground. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was basic but clean and warm. The breakfast was very good and included in the price. We loved the antique lift.

Extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, a beautifully clean hotel and a buffet breakfast offering very fresh food every day. A good location for getting out and about and very close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. We both loved the Graf Stadion and would happily stay there again

This hotel is very well situated for the sights of Vienna. The staff are very helpful. They organised a taxi for me and have help each day with pointing me in the right direction and navigating maps. The facilities are very good. The room is super clean and everything is provided. Breakfast includes everything and is arranged buffet style in a pleasant room. The old lift is a highlight!

Plainish, central hotel near the Rathaus. Tram line 2 has a stop (stop Rathaus) c 100 metres away - at the time of writing the nearest Metro line (station Rathaus) is closed for reconstruction. Unless you are young, fit and short of cash I would suggest taking the tram if coming from the main railways station. Breakfasts are plentiful with a wide variety and even if you have a room on the lower floors its worth having a trip in the very ornate lift. from the hotel its possible to walk to all the city centre sites although after a long day Tramline 2 - which you can pick up by the river is a godsend for tired feet. Hotel was v quiet. Note reception is only manned until 1800 - if arriving after this you will need to make a phone call.

great hotel close to city hall and Christmas Markets. Breakfast excellent and elevator giving experience of living in a luxury building in the 1920's. Stayed for 2 nights and near public transportation and great restaurants so was a great choice for first trip to Vienna

I booked last minute for a one night trip to the city. The hotel is only around a 10-15 min walk from the Hofburg, I have no idea if there are metro stops thereabouts as I like walking. It’s a clean, friendly, comfortable establishment. The rooms are very well appointed and I certainly had a good nights sleep. I was facing a courtyard so it was very quiet but the street (Buchfeldgasse) is a quiet street anyway and I’d say the front facing rooms will be quite peaceful too. The Inclusive breakfast had a wide selection and there was plenty of it. In my opinion it was very good value for money, if I had one comment I would ask that the rooms be more blacked out, it got very light very quickly in the morning.
