I booked the stay at Zerohotel through the Delta Vacations, for a pre-cruise accommodation. If I knew in advance how much my husband and I both enjoyed the lovely boutique hotel and the Valparaiso, we would have definitely booked for longer! The hotel manager started taking care of us long before the arrival, arranging for the airport transfer from Santiago. The personal and attentive care was evident in everything: getting the reservations for the restaurant, advising on the local tours, etc. I typically try to book with Small Luxury Hotels network ( where available), and Zerohotel’s services fit right in. We loved everything!

Wow, what a great place! Me and my partner stayed for a couple of nights and loved absolutely everything. Beds are supper comfortable, room was very clean - shoutout to housekeeping. Food was amazing. We were supper happy that it was very quiet and we could relax after a long flight. Matías was very welcoming and fun, he made our experience even better- thank you!

This hotel is delightful. The staff couldn’t be more helpful, the view from our room over the harbour was amazing. And it is in a quiet neighbourhood. The room was comfortable and beautiful. Sadly, we only were able to stay here one night en route for Santiago and then on to Peru. But I would highly recommend it to anyone. Lots of lovely restaurants in the area and great walking. More time to explore would’ve been fabulous.

Great place to discover Valparaiso. Small boutique hotel. In an old house from the 1800s. Lots of charm and character. Not sure but am guessing there are not more than 10 rooms in the property. Our room had wonderful views of the harbor. Room was spacious and comfortable. The deco is a bit old fashioned, but it is part of the charm of the place. Service was really excellent. Small team, who get to know you quickly. Were all very helpful and friendly. Made reservations for us in local restaurants each evening that we were there. Very nice terrace and small dining room for a drink or for breakfast in the morning, which was included in the room rate. Breakfast was made to order and generous in its quality and selection. The location was very good: on one of the side streets on one of the hills in the historic center of Valparaiso. Easy walking distance to all the main sights in the old part of town, as well as the various funiculars which can take you down to the port. The hotel has a few parking spaces in a covered warehouse type of space across the street, which was very convenient for us as we had a rental car. This was complementary and did not incur a further charge. Pricing was very reasonable given the charm of the property, quality of service, and location. Highly recommended.

Great 2 night stay in Valparaiso. Very comfortable room, good shower, good breakfast and very friendly staff with good English language skills. Best thing is the location, safe quiet neighbourhood above the city. Easy to use as a base to walk around a very interesting city. Three tips. #1 We got here via Valpo bus station, walk to metro Baron station and journey to Puerto stop. Then walk to El Peral Ascensor, up the hill then short walk to hotel. With backpacks. If you have wheeled bags a taxi will be easier. #2 no hotel sign outside so look out for the number and intercom on the door. #3 Stay here in Valparaiso and do a day trip to Vina del Mar via the metro.

Enjoyed our 3 night stay at zero hotel! Staff is very friendly & helpful. Breakfast room & terraces overlook the port. Roses and bougainvillea frame the outdoor spaces. Rooms are comfortable. Location is excellent. Would definitely stay here again!
