When we first walked in, we were greeted by Susan at the front desk, she was quite lovely and friendly. She set our expectations for the rest of the stay. The spa was nice but it was expensive. We found a deal online £19.99 for a couple. They offered a bathrobe and flip flops at the front for a price. You have the option to use your towel as well which we did, the slippers were sold for £8! We found cheap flip flops at a store near by called Action. Only £1.25! It's a nude spa so be prepared for that. They have a jacuzzi which the water is only luke warm, not hot, they have a swimming pool, 2 saunas, 1 steam room, 2 foot baths, infrared heaters and a room where you can put salt on your body and rinse it off, never seen that before. We went early in the day and it wasn't very busy so that was nice. Our room was beautiful, clean and big and we had a king sized bed. I made a video on YouTube if you want to see it. My channel is called Jules Reviews. We tried the breakfast buffet for one day. It was £15 per person which I thought was overpriced. They had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, bacon, cold cuts, different cheese slices, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, fruit and fruit juices. Coffee and tea is included of course, they have the machine so you can make a latte or cappuccino. The lady at the restaurant seemed grumpy, she was old and maybe bitter? Maybe she hated her job? Or maybe she didn't like us because we spoke only English and she was Dutch, not sure. Another encounter with staff I had, was when I called downstairs asking for recommendations on where to park in Amsterdam. We're tourists and this is a hotel, I thought most hotels knew about their country and had recommendations. The guy who answered was very rude, he said no I don't live there to which I responded Oh so you don't have any recommendations for tourists? He could have been polite and professional and just said no sorry I have no idea or try Trip Advisor or something! He just hung up on me! A hotel clerk hung up on a paying guest! Wow. I wonder if this is the norm in this country? If that was my employee, he would have been fired on the spot. Needless to say I definitely don't want to come back here for that reason alone.

Great stay, clean, efficient and super friendly staff, location is right bang in front of the station. The only comment was if you're a light sleeper ask for the back of the hotel as i was on the front by the road and it was quite noisy even with the windows closed.

The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated building in the center of Breda. Stylish with many authentic elements but with a modern twist. If you come by car, you can choose the Valet service or park your car in the practically nearby parking De Barones yourself. The parking garage has several charging stations for electric cars. We arrived at the restaurant side of the hotel looking for the entrance. An attentive employee saw us and asked if we were looking for the hotel. He took over our suitcase and escorted us to the front desk to check-in. See, now that's hospitality. The ladies at the front desk were also very friendly and welcomed me as a Platinum member with a nice room upgrade. My room on the 5th floor was very spacious — lovely big bed, separate toilet, spacious bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower. Besides a bottle of Holy water, there is also a Nespresso machine for a cup of coffee. Too bad the bar was closed in the evening, and we had to go out for drinks. They served breakfast in the former chapel. Found that space is somewhat claustrophobic as you are locked in and can't see outside.

Mijn vrouw en ik hebben overnacht in Hotel Central in Roosendaal, en dat allemaal dankzij een onvoorziene situatie. Toen we op een zondagnacht gestrand waren op Roosendaal Centraal vanwege een storing bij de NS, besloten we om de nacht door te brengen in dit hotel. En wat een geluk was dat! Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk begroet door de nachtportier, die ons meteen welkom liet voelen. Na een kort overleg met zijn collega, konden we nog een kamer boeken. De prijs was zeer redelijk, vooral gezien de situatie, en we waren aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit van de kamer. De kamer was ruim, comfortabel en brandschoon. We konden echt even tot rust komen na de onverwachte wending van onze avond. Wat ons het meest opviel, was de vriendelijkheid van het personeel bij de receptie. Ze waren attent, behulpzaam en deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Hun positieve houding maakten echt een verschil voor ons. Het voelde alsof we bij vrienden verbleven in plaats van in een hotel. De volgende ochtend werden we getrakteerd op een heerlijk ontbijt. Er was een ruime keuze aan verse broodjes, beleg, fruit en warme dranken. Al met al kunnen we Hotel Central in Roosendaal ten zeerste aanbevelen. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen tot het moment van vertrek, werden we behandeld als gewaardeerde gasten. De vriendelijke mensen, de betaalbare prijs en de kwaliteit van de kamer maakten onze onverwachte overnachting tot een positieve ervaring. Onze oprechte dank aan het team van Hotel Central!

This hotel had a very good breakfast, but otherwise the hotel was not more than average. The room had an unpleasant smell and windows could not be opened to freshen the air. Air conditioning did not help, I guess it was in the carpet as it seemed very old. Room was dark, it would be difficult to work from there. Hand soap finished during my visit from the big container as there was only little left, and the cleaner threw away my piece of soap even it was only barely used and did not leave me a new one. The small shampoo and 2 body lotions were opened when I arrived. The staff did not greet me most of the times when I passed the reception. I would not visit this hotel again.
