'I had such a great stay in Tacheng, thanks to the hotel’s owner! When I planned my Yunnan trip and asked AI to help me (because of the lack of online information in English), and it recommended me to go to Tacheng to see the snub-nosed monkeys, little did I know that nothing could be done there without a car. Fellow travelers, just so you know: there are no bus stations nor taxis in Tacheng. I of course only realized it once I arrived. I felt dumb (no I do not have a car nor a driver), but the hotel’s owner was super kind and gave my friend and I free roundtrip rides, to the hotel and in the early morning to the Snub-nosed Monkey Park (that is closeby). Because the closest restaurant was 42 km away, we were given a generous and delicious dinner. (It was supposed to be 50 rmb but at the end the boss made it free.) I’m vegetarian and the boss accommodated me. The breakfast, that was included in the price, was also generous and delicious. As for the hotel, it was beautiful and comfortable. There’s a really nice living room (we were given free fruits and free beer!) and a really nice patio as well. The room was clean, the pillows were so soft and the shower was surprisingly techno. I slept very well, even though a rooster started to crow in the early morning (so remember to close the window before going to sleep). In the evening, we walked in the surroundings and I liked it so much, it was picturesque and peaceful. My stay in Tacheng could’ve been a nightmare but thanks to the hotel’s owner, I really enjoyed it (and I got to see the famous snub-nosed monkeys!) So I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, where I didn’t expect so much kindness and generosity.'

'塔城的這家民宿是此行的意外之喜，整體環境不錯，水景和庭院都很漂亮，一進門就被濃濃的人情味包裹，服務特別熱情，噓寒問暖；房間比較大，之前擔心民宿熱水會比較小，這家居然水很大；餐廳的主廚大叔菜做的不錯，歌聲更是好聽，推薦來看金絲猴的朋友可以入住他家，倍感舒適温馨。'
