The hotel has free attached parking within walking distance to the sea and you can go visit the penguin nesting area. We got a large room with a kitchenette and balcony, Everthing is clean and wall maintained and the owner is nice ana helpful.

DATE OF TRAVEL: July 2023 Stayed here for 3 days for a business trip. First impressions were.... disappointing. The hotel was empty, the chef was also at reception and the building looks run down. HOWEVER, check in was fast, the rooms were well appointed, if well travelled, and the bed was very comfy. Sadly I didn't get back to my hotel room until late night each night but the breakfast was fantastic and affordable. All the staff were super friendly, welcoming and accomondating. Room walls were thick as I didn't hear my colleagues in the other rooms at all, even when we were talking. Shower was great. Good pressure and the bathroom had all the basic amenities you would need for a regional motel. Though some people may not like it, the interestingly spaced corridors made the hotel feel like a rabbit warren and I actually quite enjoyed that. The gym was probably the best one I'd seen in all of my hotel stays in Canterbury. I was really impressed. Sadly it was closed before I left and when I came back so didn't get a chance to try it. It's only a few minutes away from the main restaurant ***** of the town and the food at all of them was fantastic. Caroline Bay Beach is beautiful and I enjoyed my morning walks there. Would I stay again? Though I may never have a need to again, most definitely if the need did arise. First looks are certainly deceiving with this place but push through it and you'll find yourself a gem of a stay =)

The motel was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. There was plenty of bath linen. Loved the view over Caroline Bay. The unit we had (No.14) had zero road noise. There were 2 x trains. One early in the evening, and one during the night, neither of which was a problem. The hosts are very pleasant. We will stay here again

침대는 편안하게 잤습니다. 장비는 양춘에 있고, 욕실은 좁고, 화장대는 베니어판으로 되어 있고, 헤어드라이어 없이 오픈한 상태입니다. 주전자 내부가 노랗게 변해 잘 사용하지 않습니다. 방음이 잘 안되고 옆방에서 소리가 납니다.

프론트 데스크는 매우 환영하고 활기차고 정중했습니다. 모든 시설을 갖춘 큰 방. 내 파트너와 나는 멋진 저녁을 보냈습니다.

제가 머물렀던 모텔방은 꽤 큰 규모의 스위트룸으로 복도가 도로를 향하고 있어서 침실이 시끄럽지 않습니다. 깨끗하고 시설이 비교적 새롭습니다. 집주인은 애벌레로 시작하는 나비를 키우는 것을 공유하고 성장 과정을 관찰하는 것을 좋아합니다. :)

Stayed here in a king studio and had a great night sleep. The units are a little dated but very clean . Very handy to Caroline bay and a short walk in to the centre. Good price! The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely rebook when passing through or a extended stay
