very good and featured publc area， and the room is very spacious， the carpet and the curtain， but really worth the money.

The evening staff where nowhere to be seen on the evening we checked in. They had a sign at reception saying they were in the bar and a sign in the bar saying they were at reception. Took over 20 minutes to find a member of staff to be able to check in and they weren’t even apologetic once they turned up. The next evening we went for a drink in the bar, while the rugby finals were on. There were many people trying to get a drink, however again the bar/reception staff were not around. Ended up giving up waiting without being served and going back to our room instead. Very disappointed with the service. The room and location had everything you needed, however and we had no complaints in this regard.

It was a nice room just dusty in areas and lots of fruit flies in the hallway breakfast was good

The location was excellent near to sand down station. The staff was very cooperative. The staff helps me a lot. The only thing is the heater should not be centralized. I was not able to down the temperature and it was very high for me

Was only on the island for one night on family business, the Broadway was perfectly adequate for our needs, clean comfortable beds, beautiful grounds, friendly, pleasant and courteous staff and extremely good value.

This is an old country house with a bit of history. It has an area outside to sit in and a nice garden.There has been extra wings built on. Our room was a decent size with a double and single, but the furniture was old and falling to pieces. The room was cleaned and aired. The lifts were old and we had to get two lifts to the third floor and walk from one to the other. There was entertainment at the hotel and we had an enjoyable evening with a drink and dance to the 60 s songs the singer sang. He was a good entertainer. There was also a games room with a snooker table and other games which we used for no charge. We paid extra for breakfast and there was a choice of things to eat, cereal, full English , yoghurts etc. The breakfast was as good as a lot of other hotels. We enjoyed our stay .

Nice location and grounds. Check is was easy. Lots of parking for a charge of £1 per day. Friendly bar staff and lots of comfortable places to sit in the hotel if you prefer not to spend the time in your room.

Location was good. Hotel in need of some attention. Lack of facilities at breakfast, I. E Plates, cups, tea and coffee and lack of food and not replenished enough. Staff tried hard but it was obvious there was a severe staff shortage.

We were greeted as if we were a nuisance checking in. We were immediately charged for the privilege of parking in the hotel car park. We checked in at 4.15 pm and were told they couldn’t accommodate us for dinner. The hotel was full of coach parties who clearly got preference. Breakfast was reasonable and the dining room staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful but struggling through under staffing in view of the demand. I wouldn’t stay again.

Nice friendly staff but room needs ventilation as there was a not nice smell in the room

celebrated our 48 wedding anniversary here.Staff were amazing.Food very good.Staff hardworking and friendly.Highly recommend.Revisiting next year.No air con so take desk fan if weather is hot.
