For the most part, most of the staff was amazing… Some need help in the smile department. I was disappointed with the menu, where I was told it changes every two days but that’s a myth… That said. I was impressed with the head staff/ manager that tried to accommodate my expectations by addressing the catch of the day situation. I was disappointed that some staff were not on board with each other. We would be told one thing and another staff would tell a different story pertaining to activities or addressing an issue. I called for towels and to have the washroom cleaned, a staff came and partially cleaned, I was not too adamant for cleaning the whole suit, but I asked if I can have tissue, since all was finished, I left the resort for home, which was Tuesday morning, and I am still waiting on the tissue. For an all inclusive adult resort, there could be much more fun and exciting activities to entertain and encourage the guest to spend more time engaging and dancing I was impressed that the ground staff were always doing an amazing job with the landscaping and surrounding areas. Enough said! I enjoyed my stay and wish all the staff the very best for 2024!

It was stated that check in was at 3pm . Got there at 3 and had to wait over 2 hours for a room . The food made both of us sick . Wouldnt recommend . The staff were friendly best thing about the hotel. Other than that it is a no for me

Location was nice. Service was slow. Food was mediocre. Good location to bars and restaurants

Staff was outstanding, warm,and welcoming, the food was great,choices of drinks was better than the last time,me and my husband would definitely return.

Soco House was more of a spend then night hotel. It is not on the beach. there is only one pool in the center of the hotel rooms, there were no acitivities offered, morning yoga/water aerobics, any activity was offered by outside source. no problems reserving acitivity. Rooms were small and clean, the lighting was minimal,no beside tables lamps for extra lighting. the bathroom has bad lighting and the vanity was to high for a 5 foot person to wash her face and brush teeth. Nice stand up shower, the balcony was nice. property is located in a neighborhood, can hear dogs barking across the street. there is no direct acces to the beach, you had to walk thru an apartment property or walk thru a vacant lot to get there. /staff friendly and helpful. 2 out of 3 meals were usually very good. There is a different menu for each meal, Meals have designated time set. I would probably not stay here again due to no beach access.

Upon arrival, we were asked to pay 12USD by a not too friendly receptionist. We were asked what occasion caused us to be there, we said 27th wedding anniversary but that went on deaf ear. The room was way on top of flights of wet stairs. Puddles of water were all on the steps, which we weren't given advance warning to be careful. This was a figure it out for yourself check in. The bell boy seemed to be in a hurry to go back and do nothing on the main area.The room was plain with just the basic. No flowers or welcoming features. The ac remote had no batteries or case cover. The kettle, air dryer, cups, glasses and condiments were inside the top dresser draw. The shower had no door or curtain and the warm/hot water took about 5 mins to warm up (the sink water was still cold when we check out). The tiny blue fridge was empty...no complimentary water. The dinner experience was wonderful. The food was great. The staff and service was excellent. The breakfast was ok. My husband omelette was a bit cold for his liking. His hot chocolate was great. The morning staff were ok, not as friendly as the night staff. We did received two complimentary glasses of champagne. We noticed that the spa was closed so all that amenities online were null and void or doesn't existed why we were there. There is a pool but no one was in it and all the chairs were cushionless (cushions were stocked wet in a corner). One of the main entrancehad boarded door. For the price, hotel needs upgrading.

The property is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shout out to Michele and Rose (bartenders). There are some areas that need to be improved. Our room 123 had a problem with the shower water draining properly and there was standing water on the left side of the shower. I notified the housekeeper and front desk but nothing was done to change our room for our 6 days. We had to wait on the cleaning lady to get the water out in the morning. The front desk needs to triage better. We checked in for our 6 days but they checked us out after our first day. I had to give the info again. The restaurant is lovely but one day we went to lunch and the menu had seared tuna nicoise. When we got our food there was can tuna. I asked the wait staff and she said it was seared tuna...we went back and forth until my husband ask that we speak to the chef. Eventually the chef showed up to our table to explain that it is seared tuna. Once I mentioned that I have a photo of the menu and nicoise, she started blaming the staff for not mentioning the correction and that she did not have time to go to the fish market.... Something to know is that there is only one small trash can in the room and no receptacle on the resort to dispose of your items (you have to take it to the bar or ask staff to pick up). Our small fridge was not getting cool, but they dropped a cool box that we used throughout our stay. The hotel is lovely and I would stay again.

The facilities were clean at all times and the staff gave excellent service. The only thing I would mention is the long wait for my meal one night out of the 3 nights that I stayed. The food however was excellent and the staff at the restaurant and front desk were very pleasant and friendly. The bar service was excellent and the drinks were great.

My husband and I went for our honeymoom. We were very happy with our stay. Drinks and food were excellent. Food portions were on the small side, however, it was all inclusive so just order an additional starter or entree. Staff was very accommodating and respectful. Couple quirky things, for example, no outlets in the bathroom. Weird but made it work. Soco House did not disappoint.
