"I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent stay at your resort, which fell significantly short of expectations based on the details provided online at the time of booking. Prior to confirming our reservation, I carefully reviewed the property’s website, including the listed amenities and services available at an additional cost. Upon arrival, I encountered a number of dissatisfied guests voicing concerns regarding the food service—an initial red flag. I was checked in by the hotel manager at the front desk, where I inquired about dinner reservations, referencing the amenities section that specifically mentioned dining services. I was informed that only breakfast was included with our room rate. Given the busy atmosphere at the front desk, I accepted the explanation without further clarification. As we proceeded to our room, the bellman instructed us to follow behind him and two other groups of guests, then left us at an unfamiliar location without any guidance—despite our unfamiliarity with the property. This lack of professionalism was disconcerting. Upon entering the room, it was immediately apparent that it did not match the images and quality advertised online. I contacted the hotel manager to express my concern about the absence of a dinner inclusion. She explained that meals were offered à la carte and not complimentary, despite the website listing a restaurant under "amenities." This discrepancy felt misleading, particularly as she later offered to upgrade our package for an additional fee, which she said could be discounted. This situation was especially frustrating as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. We were forced to leave the resort to find dinner at a nearby restaurant, which impacted our experience significantly. The issues continued upon returning to the room: - Only six packets of milk were available in the refrigerator. - The television was inoperable. - The shower caused extensive water leakage across the floor. - The bathtub was rusted. - We observed insect activity in the washroom. The next morning, we attended breakfast at 8:00 AM only to find the food quality unacceptable. The experience was so disappointing that we checked out by 9:20 AM—well before our scheduled departure time. At no point during check-out were we asked about our stay or offered any resolution for the numerous concerns raised. The overall experience was unacceptable for a resort of your claimed standards. I trust this feedback will be taken seriously and prompt necessary improvements in your operations, customer service, and transparency in online advertising."

"When I checked in, I was upgraded to a deluxe room, facing the bay, and there was a jacuzzi in the room. The breakfast was very good. The bacon was the best bacon I had ever eaten. It was not greasy and would not be as crisp as the American bacon. The meat was tight, but it was not firewood and hard, and the pork was full. The hotel is in a good location, close to the business district, but very quiet, and there is no noise at night. The only downside: the prepaid room rate has included taxes, and the so-called government tax of $4 per night has not been charged."

"A winding 1h 50m transfer from Hewanorra airport travelled with BA holidays from LGW. Arrived late afternoon & check-in was smooth with Gideon on front desk with a glass of bubbly. St Lucia charge tourist tax @ US$6 pppd Then in the lobby we first met the lovely lady Eloise. This was the real introduction to the SoCo experience, warm, friendly & intimate. She remembers every visitor's name & is always smiling with open arms. The staff & management have 'Something special' happening here at this boutique A.I. hotel. Rooms are all good with everything you need ( mini bar fridge, keypad safe & iron + board etc) maid service everyday. All meals are served ala carte menu in the only restaurant through the lobby. Warm smiling welcome everytime to eat here. Juices, ice-water & tea + coffee offered for breakfast, then wines, bar drinks for lunch & dinner. Food is mostly at high quality & taste. With menus rotated every couple of days ( except breakfast) A nice variety on offer with salads, soups, pastas, Asian, Caribbean + fish & seafood, meats ( pork, beef,chicken & lamb) BBQ night on Saturdays. Dessert also on offer with ice creams. A few hiccups with ordering & delays when busy sittings, but remember food is made to order & whole lot better than a buffet serving ( no need to leave your sit for food & drink.) The restaurant & kitchen staff will take requests for food changes or extras ( special diets or allergies) Thank you to Gentleman George, Stacey, Annia, Jane & young Akeel to mention a few. Reduit beach is just a short 5-6min walk away & a must visit as it's beautiful beach. SoCo house offer a small Cool-box that can be filled with bottles of your choice & ice. Left side of beach by Spinnakers bar you'll see red parasols & Shawn will see your Cool-box & look after you.👌🏻 Water taxi available right side of beach to take you to Pigeon island & further, ask for Noah The Pool & bar are superb. Plenty of wooden sunbeds with wheels & thick padded blue cushions, also there are 9x Cabanas down the sides of the pool. The bar has bottles of local beer Piton & Heineken + nice cocktails menu. All served with a musical vibe by lovely people which I salute, King Charles, Madame Rose, Warner, Yahnel & Gavin. 🫡 The SoCo House Manager Vladimir is always circling like a wise owl, stopping to introduce himself & constantly checking to make sure you're enjoying your stay. Eloise is Guest Relations which you ask or tell anything to. You'll be invited to meet all the managers at cocktail evening on Mondays 6-7pm @lobby bar, don't miss it. Evening entertainment doesn't really happen @Soco house, but you can venture out, Street Party on Fridays nights in Gros Islet beach front area is a must see (Ask Eloise) Inc Evening excursions Also plenty of bars to visit in Rodney bay ( 10 min walk), Eden has a Reggae night, KeeBees 🐝 sports bar & Cockpit pub nearest is worth a visit 🍻 Thoroughly enjoyed our relaxed stay here in beautiful St.Lucia. "Apartment # 14A at The Harbour in Rodney Bay was perfect for us and we thoroughly enjoyed one of our best holidays ever. Despite being close to numerous restaurants, bars, shops, supermarket, the shopping mall and other amenities, this fantastic apartment in a quiet location, ground floor, on the corner and away from the pool. We felt very safe and secure. The lovely gardens with their various trees, shrubs and flowers are very well-kept. We enjoying watching the hummingbirds and bananaquits visiting every day. Beautiful Reduit Beach is a 10 to 15 minute walk away. The apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable with great facilities. We loved sitting on the patio with its amazing view of the harbour. The photos do not do it justice Our housekeeper, Jeny, came twice a week. She was very welcoming, efficient, friendly and helpful. The manager, Cleopatra, called by on our last day for a chat. We told her that we had been very happy with everything and that we would return as soon as possible. "
