Setting unexcelled in its beauty. Excellent wine and food. Very attentive and polite staff. Magical was monastic chant coming from stereo in one of the three cloisters at night. You'd almost think Estevo's monks and medievalism were not a thing of the past. I'd surely return.

Hotel situado cerca del casco antiguo de Ourense, con 20 habitaciones, y donde la amabilidad en el equipo de recepción es de 10. El compañero que nos atendio por la mañana, muy atento nos indicó con mapas donde comer aqui y en carballiño (para comer pulpo), pues acertó en todos los lugares que nos recomendó. Nos indicó que visitar de Ourense, ya dije un chico de 10 en amabilidad y atención al público. La habitacion muy silenciosa estaba en la 4 planta solo hay dos, es espaciosa, con terraza, la bañera es un jacuzzi con lo que fenomenal. La cama son dos camas juntas, y duras muy bien Tiene un armario pequeño y una burra para colgar la ropa, en total 7 perchas.(alguna mas creo que es necesaria) El unico inconveniente es la poca luz en el baño, por el resto fenomenal. El spa siendo un hotel pequeño pues tiene de todo cosa que otros hoteles mas grandes y con mas categoria no lo tienen asi de bien acondicionado. Tiene parking pero puedes aparcar cerca del hotel. Un hotel que aconsejaria sin dudarlo.

NH is one of our go-to hotel chains and this particular hotel in Ourense did not disappoint. Eva C at the front desk was particularly helpful to us. I had a lot of questions about getting to the thermal baths and she addressed them all. We were very pleased with the room, which was a good size, and a perfect base for two days. The shower was hot with strong water flow. If management is reading this, I have only two negative comments and one minor quibble: First, the rug outside the elevator on the floor our room was on was extremely stained and dirty. It was a little off-putting, to be honest, and should be addressed. Second, the situation with the clear walls in the bathroom should be further rectified. Putting a window shade on one side does not fully solve the privacy problem, as the door is still fully clear. To this end: readers of this review should note that you should check out whether the room you will be staying in has a clear bathroom wall looking out onto where the bed is. If so, it would not be a comfortable room to stay in with another person unless one is on very intimate, not self-conscious terms with that person. The minor quibble is that it would be nice to have a small bar of soap on the bathroom sink. The liquid soap was in a metal holder that was not mounted close enough to the sink. In fact, the lotion was mounted closer to the sink than the soap! It made hand washing very awkward.

Spent two night at this hotel in a Junior Suite on the top floor. Excellent facilities. We have seen references to noise and darkness. Not art all - very good facilities. Parking also excellent. Staff very helpful and breakfast spread was very reasonable. Good central location to explore the city and the surrounding area.
