The location of the hotel is not close to the train station, and it is located in between two subway stations. We took the subway from the train station and then walked to the hotel from the subway station. The room was a good size, with a small fridge, microwave, and kitchenware (pots, pans etc.) to cook a light meal. We requested at quiet room, and got a room at the end of a long hallway. It was quiet. The most interesting thing is that there is this ”reminder” in our room, telling us that we had to empty our own garbage before check-out, and if we don't, we will be billed at the ”current rates” but nobody told us what is the ”current rates”. Also, the same reminder states that if we break anything, or don't wash our own dishes and put them back at the exact spot where we found them, we will be billed at the current rates. We emptied the garbage, took the recycling downstairs, washed and dried all dishes, and put them back at the exact spot where we got them before we checked-out.

Une fiche récapitulative des services proposés par l'hôtel était fournie. Il est important de réserver un créneau horaire pour le spa/hammam. La salle de remise en forme est bien équipée avec des horaires étendus. *Chambre:* Mon appart-hôtel offrait un grand lit double, une baignoire, une planche à repasser avec fer, un coffre-fort, un aspirateur et une TV. La kitchenette était bien équipée avec réfrigérateur, machine à café, vaisselle, plaques, grille-pain et bouilloire, ainsi qu'un micro-ondes. *Emplacement:* La proximité de l'hôtel à deux minutes à pied de la gare est extrêmement pratique. *Propreté:* Tout était impeccable à mon arrivée, avec un service de ménage quotidien. *Remarques:* Cependant, l'établissement pourrait améliorer la disponibilité des produits d'hygiène tels que le rasoir pour Monsieur, la brosse à dent et le dentifrice. Les échantillons de gel douche-shampoing étaient assez petits. Le sèche serviettes ne fonctionnait pas. Dans l'ensemble, mon séjour a été agréable, mais quelques petites améliorations pourraient rendre l'expérience encore meilleure. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit dans cet établissement.

Vriendelijkheid van het personeel aan de receptie laat te wensen over. Ze laten gasten wachten en negeren ze, terwijl ze niks zitten te doen. Barpersoneel was daarentegen zeer vriendelijk. Het ontbijt was in vergelijking met een paar jaar geleden sober.

Hotel have great location and just walk distance to Lourdes Sanctuary. Receptions staff friendly and quick response with our request. We have experience the aircon does not work in the afternoon and water heater does not work in the early morning. Hope they could better in the future.

Outst!.anding experience in Lourdes - relates to very first day - my daughter & self walking towards sanctuary, and really looking forward to so much. I volunteer each year , but my daughter was never there before & at her suggestion we stayed in Ibis. Was v pleased with location for starters and we could go down steps & towards Grotto. However suddenly lady tapped me on shoulder to warn me that my bag open - back pack which I bought for trip. Immediately I knew - I would never leave a back pack open/ Panic set in quickly & I found all my walled, bank cards & mobile phone - so my good sense left me too & I just turned around and back to IBis. Up in my room I did not have a phone , but was too upset & just knew straight to police. With that - knock on door. It was Christophe from reception. He had got a call from a shop - St Joseph's under bridge entering San Michelle gates. My little holder with all my bank cards, details, my mobile, any cash also. So we quickly rushed down there to be handed my wallet & phone. They were such a sweet couple. Cash was taken but thank Our Lady the cards remained. I could not say enough about Christophe & Nathalie. They really cared & I did not need police. So I could only say IBIS staff were wonderful. People is the reason for going back to Lourdes and the bad ones drive everyone away. So I am voting for your staff on that account

Posizione eccezionale a circa 150m dal santuario, circondato da tanti locali e ristoranti. Di fronte all’hotel è possibile prendere in prestito le sedie a rotelle, qualora ci fossero persone disabili. Buona la colazione internazionale. Personale gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio e ci tornerò sicuramente.

There was also good free Wi-Fi and a wall-mounted TV. However, there were several drawbacks. We arrived at 9pm and found there were no staff on site. Instead, we had to use a digital check-in system to obtain codes for both the building and our room. As there were two of us, the system required separate details and email addresses for each guest before issuing the code, which was frustrating after a long journey. The restaurant next door was closed (it doesn’t open on weekends or public holidays), so we had to walk over a mile to find food, which wasn’t ideal late in the evening. The air conditioning was ineffective, it made a lot of noise but didn’t actually blow any cool air. We ended up opening the windows, but it was a very hot night, so this didn’t help much. The bedding wasn’t 100% cotton, which made it uncomfortable in the heat. Finally, the shower was extremely small and wouldn’t be suitable for a larger person. No carpets in the rooms.

Small simple room but all that I needed. No lack of kettle but I was allowed to get hot water from the eating area. Very close to railway station and under 10 minutes walk to the river. Plenty of eating places around Very good value

J'avais réservé une chambre simple, mais elle a eu la délicatesse et la générosité de m’installer gracieusement dans une chambre plus spacieuse. Un geste qui m’a vraiment touché. Ce genre d’attention est rare et mérite d’être souligné. Je rajouterai que les chambres sont en très mauvais état , draps déchirés dans ma chambre.Toutefois ce n'est pas la faute du staff... A suive.
