"프랑스어로 친절하게 맞아주셔서 정말 좋았습니다. 조용하고 깨끗한 방에는 전기 주전자, 커피 두 잔, 차가 제공되었습니다. 침대도 크고, 욕실에는 욕조와 테이블, 의자 두 개가 있었습니다. 직원분들은 항상 웃는 얼굴로 친절하게 응대해주셨고, 프랑스어도 잘 구사하셨습니다. 방은 흠잡을 데 없이 깨끗했고, 불평할 거리가 전혀 없었습니다."

"호텔은 트램 정류장 1 개 또는 Oostende 기차역에서 도보로 15 분 거리에 있습니다. ******와 해변과 매우 가깝습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 도움이됩니다. 방은 편안하고 깨끗합니다. 아침 식사는 조금 비싸다 /9 나는 다른 곳에서 아침을 먹었다. 전반적으로, 그것은 매우 저렴한 쾌적한 숙박이었습니다."

"Nice hotel with sauna"

"I arrive on Friday in front of the hotel and I read that check in must be done at the reception of the main hotel, which is fine because it is close by, a 4 minute walk, but with the suitcases (and the rain) maybe you should say so in advance so you can go directly there. I arrive in the room and the heating does not work, I call the reception and nobody answers. I ask a Belgian friend to help me call and I go out for lunch. I go back to the room and find a letter of apology and a change of batteries for the remote control. The radiator is only in the bathroom and in the room there is a very noisy siphon for hot air - that is take it or leave it. So in the nights I spent in the hotel this siphon turned on and off (once the set temperature was reached) feeling like I was in a factory, it was not a pleasant sleep at all. Really noisy both during the act of heating and the loud "tac" when it turned off and considering that it happened every 20/25 minutes it was not at all pleasant. Bottle of water only on arrival, drank that and the following days no water available. Considering that the siphon dried the air a lot in the morning we woke up very thirsty. The third morning at about 9.30 I hear a knock and then a loud shout, I answer "what?" in English but they answer me in Flemish which unfortunately I don't understand. After two minutes another very loud knock and more shouting in Flemish I answer with "what?" again and again loud shouting that I don't understand and then a "cleaning!" to which I answer with "later please" and I hear an ok as a response, always very loud. I go out and come back in the evening after a day of work and the room hasn't been made, this bothers me a bit. In my opinion, all in all, very bad service from this hotel. The room is not bad and the bed is comfortable, shower large clean bathroom. However, the noisy siphon at night is truly unbearable, the option was to sleep very cold but sleep, which I did the last night by not turning on the siphon. Noise or cold? There was also a tiny electric heater for heat, but of course it did little."

"We stayed at Hotel Monarc at the end of October 2025 and were impressed by its calm atmosphere, personal service, and prime location just steps from the beach and promenade. The booking process was professional, with a personalised reply from the team. On arrival, parking was straightforward, and check-in was handled directly by the owner in an efficient way. Our room felt bright and comfortable, with a good bed and quality lighting, though the curtains let in some morning light. The bathroom was excellent — spacious, spotless, and equipped with Rituals toiletries, good towels, and a rain shower. The breakfast was one of the highlights: a beautifully presented buffet with fresh orange juice, a smoothie, Moroccan tea, and a wide selection of products. The cosy room and attentive service made it a perfect start to the day. Hotel Monarc combines design, comfort, and hospitality in the heart of Ostend. The great room, the personal approach and top breakfast make it a hotel we would gladly return to."

"The location was great, where's just next to the train station. I loved the vibe so much! It's modern, elegant and fun. The staff was nice and helpful. We stayed a night here at the family room and it's roomy and 2 bathrooms was a great spot. The little balcony provided a cosy place for us to enjoy the coffee. The breakfast buffet was delightful~ We loved there were so many variety and all the choices were delicious. We will definitely come back later!"
