非常好！！

Our bucket-list vacation to the Loire valley was even more special with our stay at Les Hauts De Loire. My husband and I stayed in a Prestige Suite in the carriage house. The room was extremely comfortable, luxurious, and large, with a seating area, desk, and a wonderful balcony large enough for a table and two chairs. We spent every evening on our balcony enjoying the picturesque views of the French countryside along with a glass of fabulous French wine. Our bathroom was huge with separate tub, shower, and toilet areas as well as a double sink vanity and heated towel rack. Our room and the hotel were immaculately clean. All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and very accommodating to any of our requests. The hotel’s grounds are lovely, quiet, and peaceful with many paths through the woods to explore on foot or on a bike, which we quite enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with an abundance of delectable food items. We enjoyed our daily breakfast in beautiful rooms with flower arrangements, lovely place settings and views of the grounds. The hotel was the perfect location for visiting the amazing châteaux, gardens, and wineries in the eastern Loire valley. It was wonderful to relax in this serene hotel at the end of each sightseeing day. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to get better bikes and house them inside, so they are not so rough to ride. Other than that, our entire stay was absolute perfection, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed a lovely stay here as a stopover, but we could easily have enjoyed a longer stay to take advantage of the beautiful countryside and the many walking/biking trails in the surrounding forest. The hotel grounds are lovely, with a large garden area with plenty of places to sit and relax, and the pond includes two lovely swans who were happy to show off their grace to us. There are many old trees and beautiful flowers everywhere. We look forward to another visit here soon.

The reception staff are welcoming and helpful.  However, our room was small and cramped and noisy from the room above.  The shutters and curtains failed to block out the outside light. The dinner service was not exceptional. Contrary to customary service at exclusive French restaurants, we were surprised that the bistro server wrote in “tip” on the dinner check.  Overall the stay was a marginal experience.  We decided to leave a day early and would not return. Not up to five star standards.

We returned for a 4th visit to Les Hauts De Loire and found it even better than before. Of course the location could not improve -- a few minutes from Amboise and Chenonceau could hardly be better. And the room, facilities, and grounds were as beautiful as before. The Michelin-starred restaurant was, as expected, wonderful. So what was better? The always professional and courteous staff not only remembered us but also seemed genuinely pleased that we returned. They could hardly treat us better than before but their warmth and enthusiasm made us even happier to be there. We hope other travelers get the opportunity to enjoy these professionals and their hotel.

First the hotel - the grounds are beautifully maintained and cared for. The room was perfect - mine was in the pavilion overlooking the castle and the grounds which was absolute pleasure to wake up to. The staff was super friendly, always helpful, would pick you up at the station even at the last minute notice. Oh, and I had the best massage in the spa! The only let down was the steam room was out of order but it didn’t spoil my stay. Do order marinated pork at the Bistro - it’s not be missed, I still crave it..

I had been here 40 years ago. It is still better. Wonderful park, great original manor house and a new wing with huge suites make the experience perfect. Great location for loire valley exploration. We had a huge suite in the carriage house. Originally we were assigned suite 6 in the main house but it had a very small salon, so I do not recommend it. For suites in the main house reserve Prestige Suites. The bistro restaurant is nice but noisy. Food is ok The main gourmet restaurant is superb. A feast for the eyes and taste. WiFi works very well Small SPA and large outsize swimming pool

The beds were uncomfortable. Cleaning of the rooms was poor. The pool was crowded and noisy. With screaming children everywhere. Tried to book the spa but it was always booked. So there was nothing to do. You’re stuck in the middle of nowhere

On the 15th May, 2024 we stayed at the Les Hauts de Loire (@h8collection) -part of the H8 Collection (@leshautsdeloire)- in Veuzain-sur Loire. During our stay our hotel room was broken into and we were robbed. At first the hotel refused to believe us and insisted on searching our car and the room for the items and then going through the security footage of our arrival before taking us seriously and finally investigating the matter. After many hours wasted, security footage showed that a man freely entered the hotel grounds through an unsecured gate next to the public road. He then entered the hotel while no one was at reception. The police and the hotel manager determined that he then entered the unlocked office of the manager and used a key to enter our hotel room and steal many valuable items. The manager admitted this openly to the police. The thief can be seen walking out with all of our items past several staff unchallenged. We lost our credit cards, passports and a number of luxury items that totaled over 24,000 euros. We had to rush back to Paris to get new passports, cancel all of our cards. Under French Civil Code this means the hotel was clearly negligent and therefore liable for our losses. However, the hotel’s response was pathetic. The H8 Collection @h8collection has refused to provide full compensation for our losses and instead hid behind their insurance company to deny our claim despite us spending considerable time providing proof of ownership and evidence of our losses. This was all ignored and the hotel insisted on receipts for items purchased more than 10 years ago - an impossible task that they knew would allow them to deny compensation. Afterwards the Director of H8 Collection stopped replying to our emails and ghosted us. We were left with no choice but to sue. To anyone reading this, DO NOT stay at any H8 Collection Hotel @h8collection or resort. Avoid H8 Collection @h8collection entirely. They simply do not care about their guests. While H8 Collection @h8collection, claims to be a high-end establishment, it is nothing of the sort. A lovely hotel in a wonderful setting not too far from Onzain and Blois. Our room was large, with modernized bath and exquisite service. the food was incomparable, well prepared from a varied menu. A great get away, whether on bicycles or in an auto. Not much around, and restaurant is closed Mondays.

This was our last hotel visiting the Loire valley, we certainly saved the best until the end. Amazing hotel, beautiful views & superb facilities ( spa & pool & stunning gardens. And lastly excellent staff ! Excellent dining experience all made for a fabulous stay.

The hotel is beautiful, and we loved our room (Room 10). Thankfully, the chap at reception was strong because we had heavy bags, and there's only one way up to the room, via a wonderful wooden spiral staircase. Every single member of staff was delightful; everyone greeted us with a smile and was incredibly professional. There were also enough staff, and I mention that because I often stay in hotels (including very expensive ones) that simply do not have enough staff. My one criticism is that the shower gel ran out in the bathroom. This should be on the checklist before a room is 'ready for guests'.

This property set in a beautiful estate made for a wonderful stay. We stayed as a family with 3 young children and took a family room which had an extension with 3 little beds. For them the stay was also magical. Breakfast was elegant and delicious, and the service was superb throughout. The only disappointment was their restaurant Bistro which while the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the food was not matching the rest of the experience. I would still highly recommend a stay there.
