'전반적으로 훌륭한 숙박이었습니다! 참고로 방 열쇠가 없으므로 방에 들어갈 때마다 리셉션에 체크인하고 방을 나갈 때는 리셉션에 전화해야 합니다.'

'우리는 Okutama의 숙박을 조사하면서이 온천 호텔을 예약했습니다. 호텔 프론트 데스크 직원은 매우 친절하고 쾌활하며 체크인을 신속하게 처리하고 객실과 온천에 대한 자세한 정보를 제공합니다. 또한 우리는 일본어를 말하고 이해하지 못하지만 편안하게 느끼기 위해 최선을 다합니다. 방은 매우 깨끗합니다. 우리는 숙박을 위해 방을 청소하지 않는 것을 선호하지만 매일 수건과 편의 시설을 교환합니다. 호텔은 또한 매일 생수를 제공합니다. 유카타도 제공됩니다. 우리 체크 아웃 당일 비가 내리고 있었고 그들은 우리를 기차역으로 데려갔습니다. 우리는 그런 친절한 행동에 정말 감사합니다. 우리는 언젠가 돌아올 수 있기를 희망하며이 숙박 시설을 친구에게 확실히 추천 할 것입니다.'

'The service at the Ryokan was excellent. In spite of our mutual inability to understand each others languages we managed to communicate well using our phones and simple gestures. The level of care and attention to detail was brilliant. Whatever you do, try their cuisine - it too displays a high regard for flavor, preparation and texture. We have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants that were not as good as this.. We felt pampered on all levels and thoroughly recommend this beautiful, traditional Ryokan.'

'건물은 새롭지는 않지만 산속의 조용한 공간을 즐길 수있었습니다. 욕조 샤워 온도 조절이 어려웠기 때문에 여기가 좋으면 더 좋을 것 같아요. 다음에 또 기회가 된다면 별관의 이자카야도 이용하고 싶습니다. 감사합니다.'

'I stayed at Beautiful Kamiya Resort for two nights. Location location location! At Mitake station there are lockers to store luggage. They fit a carry on for sure but maybe even a large suitcase. 500 yen for up to three days. I was outdoors the majority of the time but was at ease knowing a comfortable warm bed and hot bath awaits me. The kitchen is very basic but good for simple meals. Electric cook top, microwave, hot water pot, refrigerator etc. The bad tub is almost as large as a car. Separate toilet and tub areas. Lots of power outlets throughout. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. There is some traffic noise but not a big deal at least for me. This area is absolutely beautiful. Mountains, trees, river, friendly shop keepers and amazing hiking. It rained everyday except my last day of course. It was not really a rain but more like a Seattle mist. I was able to hike the entire main loop but did not peak Mt Otake as I did not have the correct footwear. There is a bus from 30 yards south of the Mitake train station that departs to the Mt Mitake cable car. The entire day round trip is about 1200 yen but honestly I did not keep track down to the penny. I had the most delicious cold udon dish ever at the Small village about 1/2 mile hike above the cable car station. They used local mountain vegetables. My first time ever to taste wild Miatake mushroom tempura. I was in heaven! Cons: no convenience stores in the area however there is a small store between the public train station restrooms and the train station. Lights from the street and nearby buildings come through some windows but there is a window shuttle that can be closed. It's 5-7 minutes walk to and from the Mitake train station. Having a car would be more convenient. I did not try any taxi service so I'm not sure if there is the option.'
