JFK 공항의 TWA 호텔

Since 2019 the former Head house of the TWA flight center at JFK airport is a hotel. It is a beautiful stylish building, the core of which was designed by Finnish architect Eero Saarinen and completed in 1962 ( a year after his death). At the time very modern, but nowadays it has a vintage feel about it, also because of the interior design.

A building that everyoner should visit. Great architecture and many great small touched to take you back to the 60's.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful and so unique. It is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. We had an issue on arrival where our AC was not working but I was able to call the front desk and someone arrived within 10 mins to fix it. The rooms lack some amenities which would be nice to have such as water, lotion, q tips. The bedding is very lumpy and the number of sheets seems to be excessive. The room we stayed in had a shower only with no hand held shower head. Overall I would stay here again because it is such a cool hotel and we loved visiting the different areas and displays (Connie, TWA shop, various lounges with uniform displays)

Waldorf prices with a motel 6 quality. Stains in the hallway. We paid for pool reservations early when we booked to find out the pool was under construction and maintenance for the 2 days. Stains on all the hallways. We went for the plane spotter fun. That was cool. We could not open the bathroom door in room 784 without help from someone. It sticks and was broken at the bottom. Food prices were outrageous. 32 bucks for 3 ice cream cones. Valet parking was ridiculous. They just stared at us. We went inside and got our own cart and unloaded everything without any guidance as to where to go.

The room was esthetically attractive and clean. The good ends there. The room was hot; I think the air was broken. The bed was hard and the pillows awful! There was no robe, slippers, iron board, iron, shower cap. The only amenities were the body wash, shampoo, conditioner and a little bar of hand soap.

Extremely convenient, charming 60's atmosphere. The rooms are good with enough room to do some last minute work. The gym is amazing with a large selection of equipment. Food selection is limited, although the food court was great for a quick bite/breakfast. The restaurant was NYC prices, expected, but very good. I will return when I need a stopover in JFK.
