I stayed at the VOCO for 3 nights where I got to experience various parts of the resort. Staff: The staff are extremely friendly and looking to make the stay a welcoming experience. Special thanks to Priyanka, at the front desk, as well as Kavita in the restaurant for making the stay memorable. At checkin I was recognized as a IHG Platinum Elite and upgraded to a suite room. The room was large and had all modern amenities. Food: Excellent food experience for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Chef Tenzin is a true gem and he was so open to getting our toddler whatever she wanted to eat. He also consistently worked to help customize our experience. Without him the VOCO would be at a loss! Safari: Saloni seamless communicated to us over email/whatsapp and helped setup a safari for us. Though we weren’t lucky to spot a tiger it was a really fun experience. Overall Stay: I gave it four stars because on our last two nights there was a huge conference about 300+ people. Everything was crowded, noisy and we even had people knock on our door at odd times. Given it is a VOCO resort, I expected that they would warn us or try to provide us with the same customized experience as we had got the first days. This was a little bit disappointing and when I mentioned it at checkout as well, there wasn’t much of acknowledgment/apology etc. This is a great resort close to Corbett safaris and all the staff are very welcoming and rooms are large and comforting but if you are after a true luxury experience probably the Taj down the road is a better choice.
