"From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the valley and the peaceful atmosphere. It's the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Our room was incredibly clean, spacious, and well maintained. A special shoutout to the staff, who were exceptionally warm, cooperative and attentive to all our needs. The food was another highlight, especially the delicious meals with a great variety of local and international options. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Munnar."

"We didn't actually stay at this hotel. However, they do offer half-day and full-day hiking tours around Munnar, and we opted for the full-day experience. Our guide was Felix, and we set off punctually from the hotel. We hiked directly uphill through the tea plantations to the highest point. Once at the top, Felix served us a delicious breakfast of omelette, toast, and fresh fruit. The views were stunning! Felix thoughtfully left us to enjoy our breakfast while he went ahead to scout the path. Afterward, we faced a very steep and slippery descent through tall grass. It was quite challenging, as it was difficult to see where we were stepping. However, the remainder of the path was well-maintained. It was a beautiful hiking trail with lovely viewpoints. We also appreciated that Felix took us to another viewpoint for lunch, where he served us bread with a delicious potato curry. Felix was thoroughly professional as a guide throughout the tour. For instance, when we were having breakfast, he left us to scout the path ahead. He actually discovered a dangerous water buffalo, and we paused for about 30 minutes until the area was safe. Additionally, when one participant felt so unwell that they had to cut the hike short, Felix immediately attended to them and arranged for a tuk-tuk to take them back to the hotel. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this hiking tour!"

"My colleague and I recently enjoyed a 2-night stay at Spice Tree Munnar. Needless to say, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The team that runs this property is truly world class and anticipates your needs before you know that you have them. The rooms are spacious and feature stunning views, many of them with their own private plunge pools as well. The food and beverage program is outstanding with a wide variety of local and Western options to choose from. Every morning we enjoyed al fresco dining on their patio which overlooks the pool area. Their Ayurvedic spa offers numerous treatment options at very reasonable prices in a gorgeous setting. This stay has been the highlight of our trip and we already can’t wait to return again in the future. Thank you again for the amazing experience and your warm hospitality!"

"The resort is very upscale and wonderful, with breathtaking views and is nestled in the heart of nature. It's well worth the trip. I highly recommend it. The food is varied, and the staff are incredibly friendly. There are two things to keep in mind: firstly, the resort is a bit far from services, but that's the price of peace and quiet; secondly, there are stairs, so if you have someone who has difficulty walking, you should take this into consideration. Otherwise, everything is wonderful, and I highly recommend it."

"The overall experience at this resort was quite disappointing. The service quality was poor, and the behavior of the staff was rude and unprofessional, which made the stay uncomfortable. Requests were either ignored or handled with an unpleasant attitude, showing a lack of basic hospitality. Despite the resort having decent facilities, the negative staff behavior overshadowed everything else. Guests expect courtesy, prompt service, and respect, which were clearly missing here. Management should seriously address staff training and customer service to improve future guest experiences."
