The Marram initially offers a serene, organic retreat atmosphere, which is visually appealing upon arrival. However, once inside, certain details became noticeable. The concrete flooring in the rooms, while stylish, created a rather cold and uninviting feel. Additionally, the walls were quite thin, making it difficult to sleep as outside noises were easily heard. It seems the property may have undergone a cosmetic refresh, but some of the updates felt incomplete. For example, the wall behind the toilet wasn’t fully finished, and while the plastering appears intended to create a smooth aesthetic, it seemed more focused on covering imperfections. Unfortunately, the bedding had some residual sand, which detracted from the overall experience. While the hotel is visually appealing, a bit more attention to these finer details could elevate it to match its promising exterior.

Fave end of summer getaway. Upscale, peaceful, earthy vibe. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Management in friendly and interactive. Great activities. Delicious food. Would love to see the bar expand their offerings. S’mores every evening! Surfing lessons available for a few with a great instructor. Great staff - super friendly and kind. Shout out to Lacey at the pool for making our stay extra fun. She’s awesome! Walking distance to town. Towels, beach chairs, and umbrellas included at pool and beach. Can’t wait to return!

Everything was fine and everyone was so helpful. Very friendly place . Very pleasant atmosphere. Very professional very accommodating

Hotel room has bugs, spider webs, dirty floors and strange smell coming from AC. Everything seemed damp. Game area too dirty to sit in with crumbs and stained seat cushions. Not worth the price.

right on the beach - great pool, beautiful fire pits and facilities. Loved the Saturday morning yoga class as well as teepee for our children. Gorgeous property and friendly staff.

It’s a beautiful property with a laid back, casual vibe. Exactly what was needed. Loved the access to the beach, heated pool and bikes. And the fire pit each night was a nice touch to help end the day.

The lobby is a tiny room. I had planned to ask for an upgrade but the gentleman checking me in didn’t even give me a chance to ask. The hotel is right at the beach, so that’s nice. The rooms are TINY. For about $500 a night and their ridiculous resort fee, I expected way more. The only people working here seem to be boys in their 20s, and they are loud. They are the only people hanging out at the “restaurant” watching soccer. I would have appreciated a better laid out room, bigger balcony, better view. I was looking for wine glasses and asked at the “restaurant” which is rather a pool bar. The attendant told me to get them from the front desk. The person at the front desk told me they only have plastic cups and that I could get wine glasses at the “restaurant”. 🤦🏼‍♀️ This is all good for maybe $200 a night but not $500.

Really great vibe, great beach, cool room. Clean! Would stay again. Love the room key wrist bands. Beach service was a 10 with towels chairs and umbrellas

This is the second time we stayed at the Marram. We love it for its location and beachfront rooms. It is centrally located, and they have many amenities. I’d go there again.

The Marram provided us the warmest welcome and stay we could have hoped for. We went for a couples get-a-way but enjoyed how accommodating they were to children and families, without harping on their chic vibe and lux environment. We cannot wait to return, perhaps with kids in tow!

There are many great features to staying at Marram, the beach, beach service, bar, and food were fantastic. However, the rooms were sad in comparison. I appreciate a minimalist style, so I assumed I would have loved our room. However, for the price we were underwhelmed. I believe the rooms need a refresh. We were also surprised to see how dirty all the cushions in the central lounge area were. For the price, I assumed everything would have been updated and clean (not have used blankets on all the seat cushions). We had a nice stay, but the accommodations did not match the price tag.

We loved the vibe, especially in Mostrador, the restaurant. The nicest staff, lovely food, great drinks, great coffee - all the notes were hit. Proximity to the beach is fantastic and the pool is cool although small. The room is fine, bed is great, shower is great. No closet but who cares, you are at the beach. All around very relaxing, no complaints.

This hotel is right on the beach. Everything is on the property - food & drink (which were excellent) and Marram experiences, which are unique and wonderful. There is always something to do on the property, which gives it the feeling of a resort. You essentially never have to leave the property during your stay, although it’s nice to ride a bike or take a walk to the center of town (only a few minutes away). The only downside was that there were tons of children there, yelling and playing all over the property (it would be great if it were an adults-only hotel, in my opinion).

We paid $2,500 per night, expecting hotel facilities, service and rooms to match the price. This is a MOTEL with shoebox-sized room, no service to speak of and unfriendly staff. The restaurant is a food counter with 20 min waiting lines with food served on paper plates and drinks in plastic cups.
